Wonderful hotel! We had the site and it was perfect for our family...i wish we would had stayed for a week!Town is cute. Highly recommend Sierra Strange for coffee and souvenirs. River right behind the hotel.

Hotel qas really nice, staff very friendly and close to the hot springs. Restaurant across the street excellent food.

Delightful and comfortable. I will absolutely be coming back to visit again. Thank you!

Checking in was very easy.  The lady at the front was informative and friendly.

Amazing stay. Roxy was so kind and accommodating. I really appreciated how thoughtful she was. We enjoyed or stay very much and definitely will return.

It was a good stay. We went there for the hot springs, it just snowed the day before. We had a river view room that has the view of the beautiful snow. Front desk was very friendly and gave us suggestions regarding the road closures. I’ll definitely stay here in the future if I visit the area again.

Walker River lodge was perfectly acceptable- it was safe and quiet (other than the other guests who had a screaming fit outside one evening), the rooms were clean and comfortable, mattress was comfortable, showers took a while to get hot and low pressure but other than that I recommend staying here. It’s a great option as a base to explore the beauty of the area.

Might be the best tiny town hotel I’ve stayed in and I travel 100  days a year. The manager was the most friendly and accommodating hotel manager I ever experienced. We were towing ATV’s and had our pup with us. I felt zero feelings of being a difficult guest, which can be common when you’re opening needs aren’t normal. Great food spots 5 min or less walk away. For an old hotel it’s extremely clean. Everything in the rooms worked properly. We’ll be back!

The only negative we have comds with a positive...the room was very clean but the lemon smell from the cleaner used was so overpowering! We had to open the windows and turn on the A/C just to ventilatr the room and make it breathable.Aside from this, our stay was wondedul. The pool was warm and the hot tub was hot! Great place to stop and stay a while.

Lovely sized rooms and sofa bed.  Shower left a bit to be desired, turning it on was tricky.  Location was good.  Area outside room was good too, though didn't get time to enjoy it properly.  Hot-tub was the size of a thimble and bubbles didn't work so bit of a bummer there.  Overall a nice stay, Bridgeport is unique.

Nice room, nice location.

Clean! This is an older motel but it is clean and comfortable and that is the most important to me. The parking lot is tight, but you can park in front of your room.  I thought we would hear the traffic more, but the room was quiet. The bed was comfortable with a lot of pillows. The furniture is a little rough (TV stand) but it works and it was good to have a microwave and frig. We didn't use the pool, but other people seemed to enjoy it. This motel is in walking distance to anywhere you'd need to go in town. We'd stay here again if we are in the area.

Clean little motel

We stayed in a small cabin that sat right next to the creek. Loved hearing the running water and watching the birds in the morning. Luckily, there were only two of us, but the reservation said the cabin sleeps five.  There were bunk beds, a queen, and a futon type thing in the living room. The place was small, and if we'd even had one more person with us, it would have been near impossible.  On the good side, the kitchen was well equipped, and everything appeared clean though worn and dated. They gave us a goodie bag when we arrived, which contained fish food and ingredients for a small smore each. That was a sweet touch. There was a small fish project, where they're raising trout, and it was fun feeding them! One small one was so excited about being fed it jumped completely out of its pen. The place had a charm about it and we'd stay there again because we loved the proximity to the creek, but it wouldn't be for everyone. 


Fun and Funky 

Our trip required chains to come over Carson pass which we were not prepared for and it took us a lot longer to get to the hotel. But the woman at the front desk was super accommodating and left us a key so that we could get there anytime after our trek and all I had to do was visit her in the morning at the front desk too check out. She was super nice and super commentating. Very grateful for that. Room had wonderful heaters and all the right places and a wonderful bathtub and shower. Very warm and cozy. We had a great stay and sleep.

We stayed here for a night for our road trip.  Our room has two big beds and a sofa bed, roomy, cozy,  and comfortable!  The heater worked great when it was 36F outside.  The hot shower is a big plus!  Our room even has a backyard!  As long as you know this is a motel, not a hotel, I would give it five stars! ps. The front desk lady is friendly as well.

The room was clean and cozy, cabin style with all the amenities. The AC was very loud but did the job. Thank god they have grills there because Bridgeport is lights out by 7. There are still a few dining options open later, but expect to pay $$$ to eat mediocre food. Our second night there we grilled bacon wrapped hotdogs while getting attacked by man eating mosquitos. Obviously the mosquitoes are not their problem, but be warned, this place is by water. The pool and jacuzzi were small and old, but very clean. There were only a few small things we weren’t crazy about. The lock on the door when you leave is just on the door handle, you can only deadbolt it while inside. It was very un-sturdy and anyone trying hard enough could break it open. We also didn’t like that the deadbolt says “vacant” when it’s unlocked. This is the reason we believe staff came into our room one day when we left the AC on while gone for a few hours, it was turned off when we came back. We asked the front desk for an extra pillow and were basically told “what you see is what you get” and they don’t have extras. Lastly, some local kids swarmed the pool on the last night and basically forced us to leave.Besides those hiccups, it was still a very lovely stay and we would stay there again.
