Countryside Motel - Cadott

Quaint little gem in the middle of nowhere.  It is an older motel but it was spotlessly clean and comfortable.  Coffee in the lobby and a large truck stop adjacent to the property with a Subway.  We will definitely make this a planned stop on our yearly trip to Canada.

I was driving home from work in a snowstorm and it got so bad I decided to stop and seek shelter in Cadott.  The owners are very nice and went out of their way to help me when I was stuck in the snow the next morning.   I also did not have contact lens solution or a case and the desk clerk gave me a case and some solution.  My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.  It's an older motel, but I would recommend staying here.

Stayed here one night as I had friends getting married at a nearby apple orchard. The motel felt safe overall, it's walking distance to a truck stop which has plenty of food and beverage options. The rooms were clean, beds are firm, AC works well.

I had pretty low expectations when we reserved here, but was pleasantly surprised by the friendly front desk staff and well cleaned room. Yes, the decor is a bit dated. There’s actually a very old box tv in the lobby that became great conversation fodder for my son. The flat screen tv in the room was new, the mattresses decent (but not luxury). Shampoo and conditioner were provided. It was very quiet at night. I wish they had duvet bedspreads as I’m always leery about the cleanliness of the regular ones. There’s a diner next door and it’s right off the freeway. In all, a decent stay. This is a far better place than the hotel in Stanley. 

The motel owners were very helpful with information and resturants near the motel.   The room I stayed in was spotless and provided me with a good night sleep and easy acess to Highway 53.   If you would rather camp the motel also has a campground.

On a road trip and chose this one over some of the chain motels. We weren't disappointed. It was immaculate, comfortable, and the owners could not have been more helpful. The filling station next door had a big shop with a very good variety, plus a separate family restaurant with a good menu at reasonable prices. Our hosts also recommended DJ's mart for breakfast, which is less than 1/2 mile away and where all the locals go. We would look forward to stopping by if our travels in the US take us anywhere near on future trips. We sincerely hope that Dewayne had a good hunting trip with his buddies. This is an older style of motel, but the couple that own it run a tight ship and it's very well kept up. Yes, all hotels have gone to flat screen tvs, etc. and the Countryside still has big tube units, but who cares.
The rooms are clean and quiet and it's the only place in town too!
There's a big truck stop, gas station, right across from it, so grabbing something in the morning to eat and gassing up couldn't be easier and yet there's no noise from it to disturb your slumber.
I don't know that I would have booked in here if I were traveling alone but we were making time from Minnesota to the ferry in eastern Wisconsin and it worked out great for us. Glad we could drive the extra time and glad we had such a nice place to stay when we were done too!

I reserved 2 rooms with the whirlpools just to pull up to a burned down motel and the scam comes from booking through Expedia and orbitz because the hotel isn’t trying to refund my money for rooms I never got the chance to stay at 🤦🏽‍♂️ Countryside motel you should be ashamed to call yourself a a business
