Stayed here in May 2017. Pulled in late to butte, cold and on a bike, got some dinner near bye and slept there.  It was warm, dry, and clean.  Everything I needed and wanted from a motel and fairly priced. Had a good night sleep and did 1000 miles on the bike the next day because of how refreshing it was.

I wondered why the reviews for this place are all over the place. It usually means that the place is in transition on the way up or way down
This place is definitely on the way up
Rooms are being refurbished by a great young couple who is turning a dump into a treasure
Most has been done so be patient they are moving forward this is not a chain motel
So with personality you get some flaws and no big money for changing everything in the place at once
Rooms are 1950s vintage with refrigerator and microwave
It is the Sleeping Beauty of Butte Montana

At first sight the morel looks old and run down. However, when we opened the door to the rooms we were impressed, it was very clean, the rooms had been renovated and they have quite a cozy feeling. The rooms have TV, microwave, fridge and I assume wi-fi (we didn't need it so not sure). Pets are allowed at very small fee/night (5$/pet). It was pretty quiet and we had a great night sleep. There's a small grass area in from of the motel with benches and table. Safeway is right across the street and also a small drive through coffee shop (cant remember the name) where the coffee was very good. A steak house is also in walking distance from the motel. Great place to spend the night.

My family and I stayed in King room for one night on our way to Galcier. This place was a prefect affordable find!! The bed was super comfortable and shower stayed hot forever! Rooms have fridge and microwave and a grocery store located right across the street

Old school motel privately owned and operated. They are fixing up the place and you can see the effort. Friendly check in and out. Quiet. You have everything you need in the room including refrigerator and microwave. Comfortable bed and the air conditioner kept up great with an unusually hot day in Butte. Dog and biker friendly, walking distance to casino, food, coffee, groceries. Horseshoes! No special breakfasts, just a reasonably priced and safe room. My only complaint is the lack of convenient outlets. support the little guy while in Butte.

I passed thru Butte in July '18, on a solo motorcycle trip.  Eddy's put a roof over my head for one night.  The place looked and smelled clean... the mattress was comfortable... the shower produced plenty of warm water.  The A/C worked OK, but was barely keeping up with the hot day.

I tend to prefer the mom-and-pop local motels, and dining establishments, and this one was fine for me.  I'd stay there again.

(Am somewhat distressed that 3 years ago, a "budget" motel was in the $45-60 range... now they start at about $70 and up.  It's getting increasingly difficult to be a low-budget traveler.)
