Foundry Suites

We were at the Foundry from 1/31/20 to 2/2/20 for a wedding and stayed 2 nights at the foundry. We were in room # 301. The room was delightfully spacious with a living room area, eating area with table and 2 chairs, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. I was happy to see very tall windows and plenty of light. We were along Elmwood Avenue and there was a lot of street noise but with ear plugs and eye shades, I was able to sleep. The room had water and a bag of 3 snacks. There was a Keurig but no coffee. Thankfully I read previous reviews and brought K cups along with our favorite creamers. No breakfast was provided. The bathroom area was beautiful. One comment I should make is that if you are short, be careful getting into and out of the deep bathtub/shower. Once in I truly enjoyed a leisure bath. The king bed was wonderful. Very accommodating. The wedding room was beautifully decorated and the industrial decor was not overwhelming but beautiful. The outside fire pits and statue was a great hit. The reception room was the best. The food was delicious and hot. The staff did a wonderful job. The acoustics in the room was a bit loud but I don't know if it was because the music may have been too loud or the ceilings are very high. The only recommendations I would make would be to have the door going to the outside fire pit from the reception room closed and have those who went outside go through the room where the wedding was done. We were seated right by the door in the reception room and we were constantly getting a very cold draft over us. The wedding couple offered a breakfast buffet that was absolutely divine and greatly appreciated before the long drive home. There was no inside restaurant to get breakfast or lunch and the dinners were provided by the wedding party. The staff were very pleasant and couldn't have been nicer. All in all it was a great experience.
