I’ve stayed here twice and it gets better everytime! It’s a quiet and nicely kept hotel close to downtown with a gorgeous view of the bridge. All the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.

If you want the best view of the bridge and the Mackinaw Island this is it. Staff very friendly an a pleasure to stay. Been ther at least 4 times and will continue to visit it.

Rooms were clean and spacious.  We went on the last weekend of the season and all services were in place.  There is a nice included breakfast in an adjacent building and the hosts built multiple bonfires on the beach, with S'mores supplies.

The rooms & grounds are immaculately clean & well taken care of.  It was so relaxing sitting in front of the campfires on the beach & it never felt crowded because there are seven to choose from.  The hotel crew started the campfires at 7pm every evening & added wood throughout the evening until 10pm.  They even passed out s’more kits to every person!  It was so relaxing sitting in front of the campfire & taking in the beauty of the Mackinac Bridge all lit up & we could also see Mackinac Island in the distance.  We had a room with a balcony facing the lake.  We didn’t use the pool but if it’s anything like the rooms & grounds I’m sure it is maintained very well.  This will be the only place we stay when visiting Mackinaw City!

The location was great! Beautiful beach & view of the bridge. Special touch with the campfire each evening. The room was exceptional large and very clean.

The property was great, the rooms with a balcony view were beautiful. Had a great view of rhe bridge from your balcony really liked that. The rooms were clean, the bed was a little hard for what we were use to, but we has a great time.

The cable tv was not working in our room when we arrived at 9:00 pm. When we called the front desk they sent a staff member to resolve the issue. I was surprised they even had staff on hand to help us.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was our 1 year wedding anniversary and we would definitely come back! Staff was great, great view, close to the city.

Staff was eager to help with any questions. Only motel in area that had 4 fire pits going and then they came around and offered smore “kits”.

There was a small glitch at check in where the desk clerk said we would have to change rooms on our final night's stay due to the fact that we booked an additional night separately.  She did however get everything worked out in the end and we did not have to change room.  Very well done and good customer follow up.

Stayed two nights then added a 3rd. Convenient location if traveling in any direction. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Took advantage of the pool and hot tub. Motel is right on the water and they had a bonfire each night.. Since we purchased the lower priced rooms, we were over the kitchen which had some noise in the morning but not intrusive. I'm sure the rooms in the back of the property at lakeshore were just as good or better! Had an updated TV as well.

This hotel is a nice gem. The front desk receptionist was pleasant yet professional. The room was very clean with updated furniture, carpet is new, the king bed was so comfortable, pillows soft and fluffy. Mr Rolstan made our visit so enjoyable by his personable spirit especially when he lighted the fire pits outside in the evenings, along with provisions for s’mores (those were the biggest marshmallows we’ve ever seen)The only little negative is the internet was very spotty or intermittent. But that can be overlooked when you consider all else that’s available!This is our second stay and we look forward to returning!

Loved this cute little place! We had a room looking out to the lake and it was gorgeous seeing the sun rise/set, also the sound of the waves was soothing while falling asleep! Only thing to mention is that breakfast was small not a lot of options and the room it’s in is very small. Would definitely come back and stay here!

My husband and I stayed at the Clearwater Lakeshore Motel during our recent visit to Mackinaw City and the Island. We selected this property due to the location and option for a lakefront view of the Mackinaw Bridge. The staff was very welcoming and made the check-in process quick and efficient. Our 2nd level balcony room was clean, comfortable, and modern, possibly compared to other options in the area. I would recommend this property and would love to stay there again in the summer months (when the weather is warmer) to use the private beach.

We had a nice stay at this cute motel. The view was great and we loved the fire pits and s'mores at night. The hotel was clean. Nothing fancy, but perfect for a night.  Positive - the bed was super comfortable. Negative - the bath towels need to be replaced.Overall a great stay and I would recommend this property.

Fantastic property.  Owners and staff friendly and courteous.  Grounds immaculate.  Room comfortable, clean and well equipped.  Pillows great, bed a bit hard for my liking but clean.  Balcony with view was fabulous looking out towards Bridge and Mackinaw Island...beautiful.  Plastic adirondeck chairs could be sturdier and were cracking.   Beach and nightly camp fires excellent with S'mores provided.Pool and hot tub was great.Will definately be back in the future.
