Rock Hall Luxe Lodging

I have recently stayed at Rock Hall (once for business and a return visit for pleasure). It is a lovely, huge house that is perfectly and eclectically decorated. I was a little worried as I drove down the street from the main highway, that the house would never appear! But there it was at the end of the driveway, massive front door beckoning:>} Despite the chilly weather I couldn't help but linger in the circular drive to admire the large trees and appreciate the identifying placards in front of them. I noticed the tennis courts and orchards, vowing to return in in different seasons. My host (Michael) was charming and welcoming. He is an excellent bartender and chef. My room was sumptuous and had amazing views of the woods and grounds. I felt safe and cossetted. I look forward to my next visit! And at the risk of calling attention to a crank-pot, I must say that as a single female traveler, I experienced nothing of what a previous reviewer noted. Sadly, I think someone was having a very bad day and needed to take it out on someone..:>{
