I stayed here the night prior to my wedding, and then together with my husband for our wedding night. A hurricane had just passed the area, so it was quite an ordeal for a wedding. The make-up artist cancelled the day of the wedding. Katherine called her friend who is a make-up artist, and she came right over. Thanks to Katherine I felt like a true Princess for my wedding day. She and Walter were so kind during our stay, and the breakfasts were amazing.

We stayed at Chateau Blessey while my husband had some business in Biloxi. Unfortunately we ended up coming Spring Break weekend and the beach front was chaotic and loud. 
Aside from that, the Chateau is a charming beach front bed and breakfast/Inn in the heart of Biloxi. The owners were super nice and ready with restaurant recommendations and they'll even call and make reservations for you. They make breakfast each morning, and my favorite was the baked red grapefruit. The room was nice and the bed was comfy. Feels more like you're staying with family than in a stale hotel. Good value all in all. 

Thanks to owners Katherine and Walter, our visit to Chateau Blessey was superb! They welcomed us into their lovely home and we felt like friends by the time we left. Such hard work has gone into the reconstruction of the place since Katrina. Exceptionally comfortable surroundings and our own exit to the big front porch - and our stay was topped off by a gourmet breakfast! Wait til you see the double kitchen! 

We loved the owners of this beautiful house.  They were so nice and just made you feel right at home.  The home was decorated beautifully and bed were very comfortable .  They made a wonderful breakfast.  The history of the house and the owners just made our trip so interesting .  Hope to go back again one day.

My friend and I drove over for a girl's get away for some shopping, good food and R&R at Chateau Blessey Bed and Breakfast in Biloxi, Ms.  Mrs. Katherine met us with open arms when we arrived and gave us a tour of this beautiful and lovingly restored home.  As we were standing in the kitchen I told her that I felt such a powerful spirit of love just being in their inn. It is unexplainable and was a feeling that came to me as we walked through, looking at the art collection, shiny wood surfaces, the kitchen and the family portraits. I asked Mrs. Katherine during our stay if she ever got tired doing this and she smiled, shook her head and said, "Oh no, we love doing this".  It shows!

 Over the weekend my friend and I would come to meet 6 precious individuals at Chateau Blessey.  I believe God places us in other people's paths and vice versa for a reason and so we came to feel like we had known these travelers for many years.  Instead of hurrying away from the table after the meal was finished,  everyone lingered around the table still engaged in their various conversations.

If you have never stayed at a B&B and think it may be stuffy or not down to earth, put your fears to rest, make your reservations with Mr. Walter and Mrs. Katherine.  They remember the smallest details of things you may like or not like, such as a Dr. Pepper with a lot of ice or half and half for your coffee.  They will do whatever they possibly can to make not only your stay at their Bed and Breakfast perfect but your stay on the Gulf Coast as well.  They are two lovely and gracious people and I am so happy I was able to spend time in this absolutely gorgeous inn.  One would think they would get tired retelling the history of the area, the inn, the remodeling after the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, the many vivid stories they have to share. But they don't!  The retelling is fresh and happy with a need and desire to bring their guests with them on the journeys they have shared through the years.

We stayed in The Provincial Suite (#2) with 2 Queen beds, large private bath with Jacuzzi tub and walk in shower and a/c/heat controlled in the room.  We had our own entrance directly on to the veranda (as does Room # 1).  We spent a lot of time sitting outside just being lulled by the calm waters and southern breeze of the Gulf. Mr. Walter is an artist and his kitchen is his palette! I never knew grapefruit could taste so juicy sweet, and the Quiche is indescribably good. 

There was so much food served for breakfast we did not need lunch so only had the opportunity to eat at 2 restaurants.  We chose Mary Mahoney's and after a lively and descriptive conversation with Mr. Walter and Mrs. Katherine about many of the local restaurants, even though it was terribly difficult to choose, we settled on Vestige in Ocean Springs. Both exceeded our expectations.

When my spirit needs refreshing I will once again return to Mr. Walter and Mrs. Katherine at Chateau Blessey.
