Check in is at 4 pm. I spent the day skiing and came down, parked the car and waited until I was checked in. An phone msg is sent out in the morning of the check-in. For whatever reason, I did NOT get that message. After calling the number on the door for check-in, I was met a few minutes later then the codes for the door to get in and the door to my room. That worked well! As others have said, lots of restaurants and shops in the village just a block away. I started in a local brewery and then went down the street to a nice restaurant. There are numerous choices in the area within walking distance. WHY SO CHEAP? You will share a bathroom but even though the place was full with other skiers, I had no problem with any waits for a bathroom. The room I got was private, it was simple with up to three bunk type beds. I got a simple desk and a lamp. For entertainment, I watched an Amazon movie over their internet. There were no delays on the internet with my surfing or on the movie. I watched on an IPAD. VERY CLEAN. My check in was VERY FRIENDLY. It was made clear no guests, nobody should be let in by me and that no alcohol was allowed. The kitchen seemed adequate and I could have stayed very cheaply for several days by cooking my own meals. Food would have to be left in a community fridge.
