We felt welcome upon arrival until we left. Tom was gracious and supportive. Our waiter at dinner was engaging and attentive. Breakfast delicious and filling. The room was cleaning and comfortable. We plan to go back. Thank you all for helping our getaway be so nice. Gayle and Joe

We Absolutely Love The Golden Eagle Inn. This is our go to pace to stay for a weekend getaway. The staff is always very friendly and the accommodations clean and comfortable. You cannot beat the location.  The breakfast is always amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I usually come here to meet up with my cousin, who lives an equal distance in the opposite direction.  This time I was excited to bring my husband and show him the town.  The Inn is the perfect place to stay, in walking distance to most things , and having its own dedicated parking.  As usual, the food and drinks were amazing and the staff was top notch!

Such a charming, quaint and relaxful place to stay.  The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming, food was excellent and drinks were plentiful… definitely worth the stay . The town has so many shops, all in walking distance. We will definitely be going back!

Extremely nice and helpful staff, great breakfast.  Perfect location in a very quaint and historic walkable downtown. Tripadvisor says I need 200 characters, so I'll say it was very very very very very very very very very very very very nice.

Tom and Mary J and on-site staff provide the most accommodating stay you could ever ask for. The rooms are clean and historical, the pub is nothing short of a culinary delight. The whiskey bar on the first floor is amazing, and do not sleep through the farm to table breakfast! It's utterly amazing.  We've made a habit of visiting every fall and spring for 3 years now and the Eagle always goes above and beyond to ensure a great stay. The Golden Eagle is a gem in the heart of a fantastic town with so much to offer.

Rustic & Beautiful property. Friendly & helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast that was included in our stay. The town has so many great shops and unique stores. Can't wait to come back and explore more. The pub downstairs was a fun time. Thanks for the great experience!

This is a fantastic Inn managed by fantastic owners and staff. This is always my first choice for overnight accommodations in Bedford - highly recommend! The location is terrific, located in downtown Bedford, and both the pub and restaurant provide excellent food.

For years we would go to Bedford and stay at the Bedford Springs. A friend who has an office in Bedford and said don’t waste your money on the Springs go to The Golden Eagle. Great rooms, super food including breakfasts and a nice friendly pub. The owners are the kind you wish you had in all other places you go to stay and enjoy a meal.

The Golden Eagle Inn was wonderful! My cousin and her husband hosted their vow renewal there and we all enjoyed an incredible lunch.  They are locals and enjoy the Inn regularly.  My husband and I, as well as a lot of our family members stayed over night.  The rooms were a great size and we had a very nice stay.  The Inn was so cute and quaint and we had a terrific time.  I can't wait to come back again!

Great Experience!

Small private owened and operated Inn, dating back to the 1800's. 

Our room was perfect and the bed very comfortable.  

The restaurant had an amazing selection of "local sourced food" and a very interesting drink list along with local brews.  

The pub was a great place to finish off the night with a nightcap with the locals and others staying at the Inn. 

Breakfast was totally amazing and fresh.  

This wasn't our first time and will not be our last.

Great place to relax and go back in time, yet be pampered.

A lovely family owned inn. We were visiting family who live in the area and enjoyed a wonderful family dinner and breakfast at the inn. Service was excellent (thank you Colton!) and quality of food and choice of beverages was also very good. After dinner we had a cosy room that was clean, simple and small but had all the conveniences we needed. They offer a 10% discount on your dinner if you stay at the inn so that was a nice and welcoming gesture as well. We had a great time with the whole family and will probably make this a yearly tradition.

I would like to thank the Golden Eagle Inn  for a beautiful memory the quietness of the town and their room that we received with the huge fireplace was extra special we have an amazing experience there and memories that will last a lifetime. Plus I have to give a shout out to the staff who was absolutely amazing

Wonderful memories

This B&B was very quaint. We loved our room (especially the fireplace)! The breakfast was phenomenal. Would have liked to have seen more Xmas decor in our room and when we inquired about it was told they were a little behind finishing doing putting up their Xmas stuff. I’m sure it will be beautiful when it’s completed!

Our trip was amazing. Decided to stay here as it’s within walking distance of all our favorite shops & winery.

Awesome, charming place for a get-away weekend.  Visited with my sister and her husband (and my adult son).  Thoroughly enjoyed all the little details, very clean, updated bath/shower, water and ice bucket on arrival with the best chocolate, caramel, sea salt popcorn ever.  Access to common areas with board games, rocking chairs Keurig for coffee & tea.  The Inn Keepers Tom and Mary Jane and their family couldn't have been more accommodating.  Breakfast is amazing and way above the quality of other B&Bs I have stayed -- attention paid to every detail.  The restaurant (with bar and fireplace) and Pub on the lower level are an added bonus with a great cozy and fun atmosphere -- always great drink specials available.  We will definitely go back!
