Beaulieu House at Cat Island

Note: As of the writing of this review--this property is no longer a B&B. We planned a short weekend getaway to the Beaulieu House at Cat Island in April 2021. We chose the property because it was on the water and dogs were allowed. Upon arriving we called Ms. Diann and she came out promptly and showed us to our cozy home away from home. Our cottage was spacious and well equipped with all the necessities. The living room had a comfy love seat, wicker rocker and chair with ottoman. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, bowls, dishes and silverware needed to cook meals. Also, available were dish towels and soap. We cooked our meals the two night we stayed and breakfast our first morning. The bedroom was very spacious with a king size bed and extra blankets if needed. The bathroom was quite large with a walk-in shower. Towels were also provided for our stay. The private veranda had a great view of the water. The location was quiet and nice for evening walks with the pup. We saw a dolphin and a school of sting rays both evenings during our stay. It was just a short drive to the Beaufort Waterfront and Hunting Island for day adventures. We would definitely recommend this cozy waterfront cottage if looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing getaway, especially if bringing a furry friend!
