Great location. Walking distance from Bar Harbor shopping/dining. Very clean and well kept property. Wonderful hostess with great recommendations. I will book here again for sure.

Cromwell Harbor is the absolute perfect place to stay in Bar Harbor. It is a very quaint and cute motel tucked about a half mile out of downtown. The parking is very easy and the walk into downtown is even easier. There is even a creek next to the property. I would highly recommend!

We drove right up to the door of our room.  Very clean.

The woman who recibe us is so glad and gentle.the room was clean and spacious . The area was quiet and near the down town of Bar Harbor.

The place was simply Perfect. Impeccably clean and comfortable. But most of all, the Manager Joy, was super nice, professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I commented to Joy that this place should not be called a “motel” because it is much nicer and cleaner than most 5-star hotels I have stayed in.

Amazing location and clean property. Spacious room. Walkable to Bar Harbour Main Street anD few mins drive to Acadia NP.

This is a good honest motel and I really have no complaints, but jut know that its a more basic setup. However it is clean and comfortable and the staff are nice. The location is ideal as you can leave your car parked there and walk to town.  But it is pretty basic and how that strikes you  depends on what you really want. We have now visited Bar Harbor 3 times and stayed in different hotels.  Some are nicer and have more amenaties but the prices are really just way too expensive. I'd stay here again.

Good but basic motel

This place was absolutely immaculate. From the well manicured front lawn and beautiful flowers to the tidy rooms. Room was pretty basic but spacious and had what we needed. It was nice to sleep with the windows open and enjoy the cool night air. We felt very safe doing so.The location was about a 12 minute walk down the road to the shops and restaurants, which were plentiful.The hotel owner we interacted with was friendly, funny and welcoming. We would stay here again.

Really liked this Inn, and it’s an Inn and nothing else. Slept really well here and would definitely recommend!Friendly owner, spacious rooms, easy parking and a short walk to the village.Really close to Acadia National Park, and the owner clearly informed what to do if you needed cleaning etc. which managed expectations. Nice little pool too but no breakfast.Should upgrade the quality of the towels and move away from plastic and paper cups, it’s 2024.

Cozy spacious Inn, close to Bar Harbor.

Stayed here with my wife in August of 2024. Great Motel just a few minutes outside of downtown Bar Harbor. Well furnished rooms with a great amount of space and private parking. 15 minute walk to get downtown from the Motel. Owner is delightful. She is very strict on her rules as it's a family owned Motel and is well spoken when checking in. She made our stay super easy and comfortable. This motel is very quiet and away from the noise of Downtown. Owner let us leave our car here after checkout so we didn't need to stress about parking during our excursions in the National Park. Would stay here again!

Hidden Away Motel Away From Noise

Basic hotel that is clean with spacious rooms.  Very quiet and walkable distance from downtown.  Road construction makes for a dusty walk, but that should be temporary. King size bed could use a pillowtop mattress as it was a bit hard. Also, the hightop table with regular chairs made it difficult to eat in the room.  We had a room on the backside so no balcony to sit on in the evenings. Maybe that's what Expedia customers get?

Very clean and meticulously maintained, the first person you’re likely to meet is “Joy” in the front office and she is definitely that, a joy!! 
You won’t find anyone more helpful during your stay. 
The hotel is located on Main Street, close enough to walk to everything but just far enough to be peaceful and quiet at night. 
Highly recommended and will definitely return for another stay.

Will definitely be back

Very clean motel close to Acadia and short walk (5-10 min.) to shopping and restaurants in Bar Harbor. Plenty of parking, which is a plus since parking in Bar Harbor is scarce.  

Our room was large but a bit dated and the air conditioner was a bit loud but we mostly had cool evenings so we kept the windows open.  The grounds were immaculate and beautifully landscaped. It was nice to be able to stay a few minutes away from the busy downtown area.  We would consider staying here again if we visit Bar Harbor for a future visit.

The nice place to stay near Acadian Park. Very close to bus station and small stores in the city. A nice host. Spacious room.A microwave and a fridge in the room.I suggest to change either the table or the chairs, because they are different height and do not convinient to use.The bed is very hard, I prefer softer surface, so I put additional blanket underneath, it helped.The water in the pool is not heated, so it depends on the outside weather.Thanks for staying at your place.

Clean updated hotel was just a touch of nostalgia. Brought me back to my childhood when we stayed at hotels where the owners took pride in their establishments. Rooms were very clean, large and comfortable.  It was close enough to downtown to walk, but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. We didn’t swim, but the pool was very clean . Owner was very personable, already planning our next trip back! This time we did a couples getaway, but next time we will bring our kids!
