Enjoyed our stay in Bar Harbor. Queen Anne's Revenge was a quaint little room that was perfect for a couple of nights getaway for our 30th anniversary. Just a short walk into town. Highly recommend.

The staff was friendly, the room was perfect and the location was great! I’d stay there again.

Wonderful property where each room is unique. Our room was in the main house and was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative for me was the breakfast. But I would definitely stay here again.

The property is located at the perfect spot to be quiet while close enough for walking to the main market area. Our room was very roomy and comfortable.

Rooms were a bit cozy but clean. Beds were comfortable. Property was located within walking distance of downtown Bar Harbor. They offered a decent variety for breakfast, their blueberry bundt cake was excellent.Parking was a bit tight.

We loved this place from the moment we arrived.  It’s very convenient to town and the harbor and has a lot of character.

Beautiful room in a lovely hotel. Quiet road but only a 10 min walk into the town. Staff were all friendly. Breakfast snacks were plentiful and the unlimited hot drinks all day were great.

The property is close to town but quiet.  It’s absolutely perfect.

I think Queen Anne's Revenge totally undersells itself on its site! We booked the Classic Suite room and it was PERFECT for our needs. It was two completely separate bedrooms, separated by a little hall and two doors, and two bathrooms. This was perfect as we were traveling with our toddler. The location is fantastic as well - a ten minute walk to downtown Bar Harbor! The breakfast is not cook-to-order, but gave us what we needed. I would absolutely stay here again!

The pics don't do it justice!

A lovely spot, close to all amenities. Our  room was well appoint and staff were helpful. Complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. The only draw back for us was the location of our room which was next to the pantry so we were disturbed regulary be people getting coffe and ice and awoken every morninf at 5 as the staff prepared for the day.

Lovely hotel but a poor room location

The room was well-appointed and very comfortable.  Staff was cordial but were not particularly welcoming.  With respect to breakfast, this is not the 1970s when carb-centric options were all the rage.  Breakfast needs to be brought into the 21st century with options that include high protein selections. All that said, the property offers a comfortable stay and is one many would enjoy.

We were so happy to stay at Queen Anne’s Revenge for the 2nd year in a row on our trip to Bar Harbor, Maine. The stay is always pleasant and the staff are fantastic. We only wish we could come again next year but as they have changed their pet policy it will no longer be possible. We understand the reasons why it was changed due to some guests but I really do hope they review or revise this policy as we love bringing our dog to Maine with us.

Bar Harbor 2024

We chose a small room, but we made do with our chosen space. There are larger rooms. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our toilet wand broke and they fixed it immediately. Coffee and tea were available all day. Breakfast is truly continental only with various pastries, breads, cereals and fruit. No eggs or m at, but I believe it’s standard in the town as they want that business to go to some local breakfast places. Our favorite part by far was the availability parking at the inn and the easy walking distance to all major sites, shopping and restaurants. Parking in town is a HUGE problem so staying within walking distance of everything is a MUST.  The only complaint for us is although the air conditioning did a good job cooling the room, it did nothing to remove the humidity. Towels would not dry for use the next day but remained damp. Still, I would recommend for the quaintness, comfort, cleanliness, parking and convenient location.

Historic place and in a really good location. A few blocks to the "main strip" but easily walkable. Staff was very nice and we were greeted with a glass of champagne. They put out a nice continental breakfast too. Our only real complaint would be that we were in a room that wasn't part of the main house and the placement of the room being lower in the ground level made it so we couldn't open the blinds with any sort of privacy. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay from the sparkling wine at registration.  The room was pleasant and quiet, and we were pleased to have the gas fireplace in the room.  We were especially impressed with how quiet the air conditioning unit was. The included continental breakfast, though not "hearty," was quick, convenient and tasty.  It saved us time and money to let us get on with the day's activities.The location was convenient to the downtown and its restaurants as well as the sand bar to Bar Island and an entrance to Acadia National Park.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful, Did a very good job at showing me my room and where everything was located. Room was very nice, clean and quiet. I liked the newer Heat pumps to get a quiet perfect temperature. Bed was comfortable and shower had good hot water & pressure. Would have been nice to have coffee available in the room or at least in the same building. The end tables in my room were super tippy due to kind of an odd design. Not very useful for putting stuff on because things would tip over/fall off easily. I had to walk quite a ways from parking & up stairs with heavy luggage as there were no spots available near my building. Overall, it was a good experience and I would stay here again.

Comfortable room in a good location

We stayed here for 4 days. Our first impression was how great the hotel is and staff was very nice. Gianni was great, he gave us a tour of the hotel, walked us to our room. The room was wonderful, updated, spacious and  bed was so comfortable. We had a jacuzzi in the bathroom. The kitchen was very nice, they put out a huge spread for breakfast like muffins, coffee, danish, cereal, tea. The dining was very nice and relaxing, where they had computer if needed. This hotel thought of everything. We will stay here again. The location was amazing, very close to everything in Downtown Bar Harbor. We highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful Hotel

Very comfortable rooms/beds. Amazingly spacious. We had 2 rooms with double beds w/2 bathrooms perfectly appointed. Great for friends traveling together. Easy walk everywhere!  Loved the bar downstairs:  good, friendly with porch option. Breakfast buffet with bagels & danishes, coffee & OJ & mini fridge in our rooms. Perfect!
