After booking the room for 4 days, I had a look at the t-advisor review and I was bracing myself for a negative experience. However when I got up to my room 205, the room was much nicer thank I expected. Sheets, pillow covers and blanket were clean and pristine. No bugs. Internet was very fast and easy to connect to with no sign-up pages. The folks at the front desk were nice back when I was nice to them, and described life in the city and Texas, so I was pleased to get a local insight of the area for my first time in Austin. The price was extremely reasonable for the area. It's not a classy neighborhood, but the convenience of the gas station store next door, it's closeness to downtown, and e-bikes parked by the sidewalk daily made my semi-business stay a lot better than I expected. If you find any missed-cleaning spots like behind the night stands or behind the toilet the first day, ensure you tell the maids in the morning, and they will take care of it. If you want an affordable place to stay and close to downtown and airport, and just Ubering your way around, it's safe and cheap.
