Nice clean hotel for the area.  Everything you need for a good night's sleep.  Comfortable bed, plenty of pillows.   TV and wifi.   Good cup of coffee in the lobby.  We needed an iron and called front desk and had one delivered immediately.

There is much in Asherton Tx. Just a ton if oilfield work and workers. Staying at this hotel is the best i have felt in the month I've been working down here. New clean rooms, great beds, clean lobby. Direct tv, free wifi, Very friendly front desk. What more can you ask for?

Came to Texas for a family funeral. Stayed at the Asherton Inn.  Exceptionally clean rooms. Comfortable beds.  Every room has a small refrigerater and microwave. We didn't use the microwave but the frig came in handy. Great price. 24 hour hot coffee in the lobby. What more could u ask for!

Asherton Inn is a relatively new property, and as such, is in pristine condition.  All the rooms are double queens, with comfortable beds and simple but attractive decor.  It is located in the oil patch, and provides housing for workers as well as travelers.  We spent two nights and found it fairly quiet, considering its proximity to a highway.  The special at the time was $79.99 a night plus tax, which seems usual for the area. The disappointment was the lack of an easy chair in the room and the lack of the continental breakfast most hotels in their price range provide.  If I were in the area again, I would probably return to Asherton Inn.

I would consider staying here again if a few things were included into the price. I've stayed at other places for less and got more. Unfortunately, due to the booming oil business in the area, all hotel prices have risen to a ridiculous amount. What really should be a $50 a night hotel is now an $80- $130. But, if you need to be in the area, your choices are really limited.

So, with that... Overall, the Asherton Inn is obviously new. I was there with a large group of my family and every room was very nice, spacious, and extremely clean. The bed was comfortable and the microwave and refrigerator were a nice convenient addition to the room. And the service... Excellent. Every lady I saw working there was extremely nice and accomidating. The excellent hospitality helped distract me from the flaws, which were small ... But when traveling from a long ways away pregnant and with an infant, seemed huge at the time. 

The flaws: not major, but for the price I'd expect at least a small continental breakfast. They have the space for it. My son and I need to eat in the morning when we wake up. Not to sound like a brat ... But, we just need to. So, if you're not prepared, stock up on goods for your room. 

The coffee was really good, however, you have to go to the lobby to get it. Which is fine, I'm not lazy, but I would of preferred a small coffee pot in my room and a decaf option. 

The rooms, as I wrote above, are extremely clean and beautiful, HOWEVER ... Be warned, the walls are paper thin. Not really an issue for me considering the people on both sides of me were family, but I can see it being a issue for other folks.

The shower was decent, my only gripe was it seemed to take at least 5 minutes to get hot water going through. Some of my other family members didnt seem to have an issue, so it might have just been something with my and my cousins room (6&7). 

I know it must sound like I'm insanely picky. I'm, actually, not. But I am frugal! And for the price, I'd expect more, is all.
