This is my second stay at Zen Hospitality Ballston Place to visit our son who lives in the area. This time, we rented a two bedroom, two bathroom unit (to let our son stay here for a shorter commute to DC). Once again, the apartment was clean and the front desk staff, friendly and helpful. On the second day, we had a problem with hot water. We contacted Mark, he was quick to reply and the problem was fixed within the same day. The apartment is in a ideal location, minutes from Virginia Square metro station. It took us less than thirty minutes to get to Ford Theater (door to door). There are many restaurants within walking distance, and prices are lower than in DC. Our favorite is Green Pig Bistro, walkable but closer to Clarendon, the next metro stop. Giant Supermarket is about a 5-7 min. walk, past Virginia Square metro and at the corner of N. Monroe St. and Washington Blvd. Relatively small store, but met our needs. Highly recommended, especially for pleasure travelers.
