Very clean rooms I had outside room very easy to carry luggage in staff really friendly

Great value.Nice, comfy bed, clean bedding, no-stink room.Did not expect to like this accommodation so much, but they surprised us!

It’s an older building but cute and well kept. Very nice staff!

They upgraded our room from a queen to one with a kingsize bed plus a jacuzzi for the same price. You must get to the continental breakfast before 9a.m. when it closes. Our room was clean and it had a mini fridge and microwave and an ironing board and an iron.

Room was much better than I expected for price. Stay at several hotels last 6 months and was cheaper and better.

Very friendly staff, nice little breakfast, and good location on our roadtrip.  Passed springfield a bit and got a cheaper spot that was exactly what we needed.   Will stop again if we're ever this way.  Perfect little roadside motel if you're looking for simple, affordable pitstop.

The room was recently remodeled, everything worked. No problems.

Everyone was friendly it was very quite the room was really nice.

Excellent courtyard setup.   Easy check-in.  Friendly staff.

Knights Inn, aka Blackhawk Inn, continues to provide the facility for an excellent stay for the rates.  My recent three day stay was exceptional overall and the staff were always friendly and willing to help should any issues arise.  I've stayed at this establishment for several years now on my time in Jacksonville and not once has there been any issues.

You get a lot for a little at this hotel. We did not have much that we did not like about the hotel- it was a grand place in the Age of Motels, and the skeleton of that is still there.There have been updates and so the rooms have wood-like flooring. The sheets were a bit thin and both the towels and bedding needed a good bleaching, but everything was comfy. Breakfast is nice for continental, with fresh fruit, boiled eggs, waffles, etc. We had a suite with two queen beds and a sofa, and fridge in the other room. The hotel was quiet (brick building) and we felt safe.ask for help with key card, though - it takes a few dozen tries to get the hang of it.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. On the outside I thought oh ma this room will probably be run down. I was wrong it was clean very spacious. It was a quiet area which I liked because our daughter gets distracted easy when trying to sleep if there is a lot of noise. Breakfast was decent but my only issues was the door, you have to keep swiping your card to get your door to open. Overall really good stay.

We travelled to Jacksonville, IL for a baseball tournament.  We couldn't believe how nice this hotel was for the amount of money we paid!  I wish we could stay at a place like this everywhere we travelled with out kids for sporting events!  This has to be the nicest hotel we have stayed in when it comes to value for your money.  The room was very spacious, very clean and the beds were comfortable (love the fact that they are Queen Sized beds versus Double/Full Sized).  The price of the room was incredible for the quality of the room!  Thank you!

Nice stay, great value.

Although the property is old, my room was updated and clean.

Overall the facility was clean but when we first walked in our room, we found dead bugs along the walls and the faucet in the bathroom still had water spots on it.
