Amazing stay.  Only place it will stay in Arco.

This is the best place to stay in Arco.  Katie is super nice and accommodating.  I love (and look forward to) this stop on our trips.

Check in was great! The room is comfortable,  clean and cozy.  Things are a bit worn in and out, but the bed is comfortable and all we needed was a good night sleep,  which we got.  Thank you!

I really liked this old style motor court.  Katie, the co-owner, was very nice and recommended sites to see and where to eat breakfast.  While this seems counter-intuitive, it was nice to not have reliable WiFi--it allowed us to focus on our vacation and not listen to the news.Anyone staying there should know this is not a resort. It is a friendly, clean old-style motor court that is in an area with interesting sites to see (Craters of the Moon Nat'l Monument and EBR-1).

Katie (the manager) is now one of my favorite people. My family and I broke down a couple miles outside of Arco. I called the hotel around noon to see if there was any chance we could get into a room early to get our kids out of the heat, within 5 minutes she was there to pick us up so we didnt have to walk!! She got us into a room right away, was beyond helpful and showed kindess that I haven't seen in years! The house keepers were also making their rounds, they stopped to check on us, gave us recommendations on local help with our car, everyone has gone out of their way to make sure we are taken care of. We are still currently checked in, they let us stay past the check out time so we didn't have to wait in town until we can get our car towed back to Montana. There are no words to describe how thankful I am to these incredible people! Apart from the hospitality, the room was super clean, quiet and had a "home" kind of feel! We just spent a week at hotels in Disneyland and I got better sleep HERE than I have all week! 10 / 10 recommend

Convenient location, close to national park Craters of the moon. Very friendly fronk desk person.

This ia a great value for the money.  Staff is friendly and welcoming.

This Motel is situated on Highway 20 Idaho. Its in the middle of a desert. The town of Arco is small, however the welcome was huge. The managers are doing a great job of maintaining it in some really inhospitable temperatures 39 Celsius 103F. The room had an older air conditioning unit, it was noisy but worked really well. We turned it down through the night. They told us about a local bar restaurant that did excellent food and drinks.

Best place I've EVER stayed

I hate to mark this property too low as the owner is a wonderful lady and made us feel very welcome. We slept well on comfy beds but shower has low water pressure and no coffee making facilities. Overall a decent night's sleep . Lovely small town as well. Would definitely stay here again because of the welcome.

1 night stay on road trip.

Friendly helpful staff--pleasant welcome greeting. Advised on dining options--good advice, really good food. For the room as --- It was an older motel, and for the reasonable price I felt I got my money worth. Only complaint the TV-- setup and controls were difficult to figure out--but eventually I figured it out.

Perfect place to sleep after a long day at Craters of the Moon. Older motel but clean. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Laundry room with 2 washers & 2 dryers that worked (more than I can say about the major hotel chains we’ve been staying at on our road trip) and they provided complimentary clothes soap & dryer sheets too.

staff was very friendly, truly cared about the customer. We had a problem with the credit card machine, and the staff was more worried about how the customer felt, while dealing with the delay. Not to mention we happened to leave an item behind, and the staff actually took the time to call us and let us know. I have stayed in alot of hotels, and have left itmes, and not once did any of these other hotels ever call me, I had to call them once I realized I had left something. that tells me everything I need to know about the people operating the DK Motel. they are class acts, care about the customer, and willing to take care of the customer. this is one thing that is  missing these days, great customer service. and the staff at DK possess these great customer service skills.

Very kind help offsets any shabbiness of the surroundings.

The best!

The stay was comfortable enough considering the small town off the beaten path. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The only negative was the bathroom flooring wasn’t installed properly so that it squeaks as you walk on it. The heater was rather noisy also.
