Monarch Cove Inn

Monarch Cove Inn is simply a magical place. The setting is gorgeous, with a view over the cove. We saw whales swimming about in the cove the morning we were there. The plants and landscaping are simply amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. The vibe is homey and retro, so don’t expect shiny and new. The retro feel is exactly what we loved and what made the place seem like a magical trip back in time. Our hostess was simply wonderful. She made sure there were no problems with our late arrival, and she gave us an enthusiastic personal tour of her monarch butterfly garden and sanctuary. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you go, I recommend the Rose Suite or the Lilac suite for a good view of the ocean - although other rooms may have good views, too. We’d definitely go again. Until we do - I hope you go and enjoy it enough for us, too!
