What a great little B&B so close to everything Anchorage has to offer!!! We were able to walk to a bunch of local restaurants and breweries to little mom and pop shops. Location, location, location!! From the moment we walked in and met Lorene, we were treated like and felt like family, and we only stayed 1 night! She made us feel comfortable and at home right away. She answered all of our questions and was able to provide us with some extra amenities without question and right away. She also provided some great suggestions for places to eat and shop, again just a short walk from the B&B. The room was quaint, yet big enough for us and was clean and super comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here as opposed to the bigger “corporate” hotels in the area, and the price was reasonable. If I ever make a return trip to Anchorage, and I hope I do, I will be staying at The Copper Whale and I look forward to seeing Lorene again. She is one of the good ones in this world.
