We stayed at Sarabande for 3 days and found it to be a fantastic experience.    I can't say enough great things about our hosts Jon and Amy.   They were very attentive to our needs and the breakfasts were 5 star.    The location is superb as it is quiet but within easy driving distance to many things in Albuquerque.   This is going to be our go to place when visiting New Mexico.    One last thing the chocolate chip cookies are the best ever!!!    Thanks again Jon and Amy for your hospitality.

We truly enjoyed our stay.  It was a busy week with the Balloon Fiesta, but Amy, Jon & staff really made our vacation special.  They definitely go the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome.  Special touches include freshly baked muffins & coffee delivered to the room as well as preparing outstanding breakfasts every day.  The property is beautifully decorated.  It is a wonderful, peaceful sanctuary.

What a lovely oasis.  We stayed for two nights in the East room.  Our suite was beautifully done with gorgeous linens and a very comfortable bed and a fireplace.  There is a very private private patio off the room to enjoy a quiet moment. The common areas are very pretty-combining modern touches with traditional southwest finishes.  Jon prepared delicious breakfast and Amy was an attentive host.  We enjoyed getting to know them and will come back again. We loved staying there!

What a special B and B. Incredible location and ambiance. Small, quiet and laid back environment with friendly and helpful caretakers Amy and John making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and a special effort was made to accommodate my unique dietary needs. Southwest architecture with modern amenities blended in made for the  most pleasant stay I have ever had at a B and B. Owner Nancy and the hosts got this one right! We will certainly stay here the next time we return to ABQ.

We always stay here when we go to Albuquerque to visit my mother.  We have lost track of the number of stays, but we have enjoyed every single one.  The managers are friendly and helpful and charming.  The atmosphere is very relaxing.  We have stayed in and enjoyed every room.  And the breakfasts are special treats.

Sarabonde is a very peaceful environment. It is very clean and quiet and every need has been attended to. The manager is extremely accommodating and so very helpful and pleasant. The breakfasts were outstanding with details to dietary needs. 
I only wish my stay had been longer. It left me refreshed.

Sarabande was recommended to us by friends who live in Taos and stay there whenever traveling to or through Albuquerque.  I have to say it is truly one of the nicest Bed & Breakfast places I have ever experienced. The property is extremely beautiful and well maintained: clean/modern/ contemporary decor ....with an ambiance of serenity. Every detail has been well thought out from furniture to furnishings to art on the walls. Morning coffee delivered to the room with a home baked muffin was a great wake up starter, followed up with a superbly inspired breakfast cooked by co-manager John. ( His co-manager and partner Amy is the muffin and chocolate chip cookie baker)  The rooms are exquisite and diverse....each offering something special! For visuals, comfort, culinary delight, and hospitality, Sarabande cannot be beat!

Peaceful, tranquil, quiet, well-managed. Attentive hosts. Right supply of amenities. Sitting areas abound. Delicious breakfasts. Like a special home away from home. Enjoyed the breakfast area in the mornings. 

Sarabande was the perfect B & B experience. Superb breakfast, cooked to perfection with consideration of allergies, preferences, and tastes . Amy and John were delightful , attentive but not overbearing at all. The property is gorgeous and modern with excellent taste and attention to details.  We cannot wait to go back!!

A friend and I stayed at Sarabande after deciding that the prices of the hotels downtown were too high. We didn't know anything about the location of Sarabande but we were sold on the pictures and descriptions we saw on their website. We were NOT disappointed. 

Sarabande is an oasis just 5 miles north of the Albuquerque Museum and the historic plaza. The rooms are beautifully appointed, quiet and the east and west rooms my friend and I occupied had lovely patios off the back.

We were greeted by Amy upon arrival - she was a great host - along with a couple of the most delicious chocolate chip cookies I have had in a long time! Our breakfast of avocado toast made by Jon was not only a feast for the eyes, it tasted great as well! From arrival through departure, the entire experience was delightful. I would highly recommend you stay here when you visit Albuquerque.

An Unexpected Oasis

I could tell from the website the entire set up would be chic with just enough cross over between tapping into local flavour and sophisticated design, but I was entirely unprepared for the wealth of small details and add ons that elevated our stay to one of supreme luxury within an easy going atmosphere. On my long list of best things topping it has to be the coffee tray delivered with a whisper to the table outside our door. Catering to milk alternative options and honey as a sweetener this little rectangle of effort jumpstarted our days in the gentlest of ways. The team in the vast open plan kitchen whipped up a breakfast to surpass a Michelin outpost. And again, the effort to go beyond and way above the standard start-the-day fare underlined our experience that despite eating at two of the most highly acclaimed restaurants in Albuquerque, the breakfast at Sarabande was far and away the very best food we had throughout our 5 day stay in the area. Hands down. Of course it’s always a treat to have nice things in a nice place but the people under the Sarabande umbrella made it all the more enjoyable. They are a professionally superior team with sincere ‘niceness’. Together they have created a real haven that works so well in every respect. Bath sheets the size of tents, pool towels and outdoor incense to ward off mosquitoes, large glass bottles of cold water in our fridge, slippers and robes, fans and air conditioning, white noise machine for light sleepers,  all of these additions came as pleasant surprises far exceeding our standard B&B experiences. In summary - a DELIGHT.
