Lovely stay at the Bottger Mansion. Proximity to Old Town stores and restaurants was perfect. We parked our car and walked everywhere including to several museums close by. Hosts were very friendly and engaging. Each breakfast was unique and very delicious.

Hard to know where to start. The little, and not so little, touches were everywhere. The bed was very comfortable, our space had a cozy sitting room, perfect for the wife to strum her Uke. Cookies upon arrival, the art and artifacts, lotion in bathroom, 24/7 coffee, guest refrigerator, breakfasts to die for, clean as a whistle, and even a cat or two that lets you give them a bit of love if your lucky. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay in the Hazeldine room.  Comfortable and very clean.   Breakfasts were delicious.  This is an excellent walkable location in Old Town at a very reasonable price.  Kathy & Steve are wonderful hosts and made us a recommendation for another New Mexico B&B that turned out to be fantastic.  Well done!

The Bottger Mansion of Old Town, is such a great place being in a historic part of Albuquerque near the coolest plaza. The service is excellent! And they have some of the nicest rooms. Everything is so clean! There is a nice living room you can read in and a neat dinning room. The area is so quiet and peaceful. The historic plaza is a hop and a skip away and there is such an awesome restaurant near by called Church Street Cafe. Definitely stay here if you can.

Kathy and Steve were fabulous.  The breakfast was tasty and filling.  The guests were friendly and happily enjoying breakfast together.The mansion is awesome with rich history.    The location was near many restaurants and shopping in Old Town Albuquerque.

The Bottger Mansion is a lovely, hospitable, and comfortable home away from home. The rooms are spacious, clean and include all the amenities one would expect in a fine hotel. The owners are friendly and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The sights and sounds of Old Town Albuquerque are just steps away. Many cultural and natural areas of interest are a very short drive away. Breakfast is expertly prepared and not to be missed. I have already recommended it to several friends.

I particularly valued the opportunity to speak with the owner about the history of the property and my family's connection to it. I felt very much at home.

We really enjoyed our stay.  Steve and Kathy (the hosts) were awesome and the breakfasts were delicious!  We’d definitely go back.

Excellent two night stay

Bottger Mansion of Old Town is an amazing experience

Special visit due to family ties with the area.

This place is wonderful! We had such a nice stay here.  The mansion is spotless, well maintained, and the hosts are the best!  Kathy and Steve are two wonderful people.  The breakfasts are the best we've ever had.  Kathy and Steve were so helpful in telling us the best of attractions during our stay!  I can't say enough great things about the mansion, location, hosts, and proximity! We highly recommend!

Loved our stay here! Room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed & large bathroom. The house has a large garden area in front, excellent for morning coffee in the sun. Breakfast was outstanding, beautifully presented & so tasty - the green chile turkey sausage was a revelation. Location was excellent, & parking just across the street. Will absolutely stay here again!

Jewel in Old Town

Located basically adjacent to the plaza (and historic Route 66), this is the perfect location for a couple wanting to visit historic Albuquerque. We spent one night in the Route 66 Room, which has a comfortable sitting room that adds a feeling of extra space (and is downstairs).  The breakfast was outstanding as was the breakfast conversation with the innkeepers and fellow guest travelers.

THE place to stay for Old Town

This is a lovely place to stay!  It is right in Old Town.   Kathy and Steve, the staff are most hospitable.   If you can't make breakfast, they can give  a  carry out brown bag of goodies.   They know the area well.    Little baked treats were waiting in my room. 

The building is charming.  My room had beautiful tiling on the walls both living room and bathroom.  The  furniture and tub were lovely antiques.  The yard has birdfeeders with Gold finches snacking away and lawn chairs.  The cost was no more than the rip off chain hotels. 

Hospitality 

This historical building was well done, and so interesting. Our room had lovely antique furniture, a gorgeous painting that was done in 1935 around the top of the entire room. So interesting! The owners are fabulous and they served us a complementary 2 course breakfast that was fabulous.  
We received texts and emails from the hotel from the minute we booked. We were well informed about everything from arrival to parking to the meal to the room.  I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Gem!

This was a delightful stay. The house has some interesting history and is meticulously and thoughtfully maintained by Kathy and Steve. The rooms are lovely with good en-suite facilities. 

The breakfasts are amazing - a different home cooked menu each day with delicious juices, fruit served with homemade sorbet and excellent blended coffee.  It is served in the garden if the weather permits (which is probably most of the time) so you can watch the humming birds and others at the bird feeders.

The location is right in the Old Town so easy for picking up tours, going to the museums and browsing the shops.

Admin is so efficient and easy and the hosts provide helpful information sheets and maps. 

I was travelling solo and especially appreciated their friendly helpfulness.

A big bonus for me was their two residents cats but if you are not a cat person they will not be in your way.!

Cannot recommend more highly.
