Fabulous customer service, I have stayed here previously a few years ago and had a wonderful time.  I had booked to return shortly. Unfortunately, I had to change my booking due to some personal circumstances and Abi was exceptionally helpful to me  in doing so. Thank you.

Very good value as cost included money towards evening meal.  Spacious, comfortable bedroom, friendly atmosphere and quality of breakfast and evening meal was also very good. If you have mobility problems would ask for a room with walk in shower.  We had shower over a very deep bath to step into which was ok for us but could be difficult for some.  Would definitely return.

Friendly staff; comfortable and clean rooms; very nice food; central location in a beautiful town; easy to reach local attractions such as Glastonbury Tor and Lytes Cary Manor (NT).We had such a lovely stay at The White Hart and look to return later in the year.

This is such a lovely hotel, amazing staff, fantastic food and such a lovely room with great bathroom products. Highly recommend. First time we have stayed and will definitely return. This town is small but has nice shops . The hotel is very dog friendly and you can take dogs in with you for breakfast and supper. I cannot stress how lovely the staff are, especially Abbie, they are all so friendly and polite. We had the Sunday roast in the evening and it was just so nice

The first room I was given at the back above the kitchen where the fat fryer vent filled the room with burnt oil :(

After complaining about the smell, I was then moved to a beautiful room at the front overlooking the church. This changed the whole experience and have recommended to family who will be staying there next week.

Wedding Anniversary dinner the fabulous food was delicious, great menu and packed with flavour, excellent service particularly Rob. It was our second visit this week and we’ll be back soon. A really enjoyable experience and top marks to their team 

Stayed over on our way to Cornwall with our dog. We had a gorgeous box waiting for us in our room with lots of goodies for our dog which was a nice touch. Lovely rooms, lovely toiletries and well situated for the A303 for a one night stop over. Restaurant is really good too.

Charming gastropub with comfortable rooms above. We had a delicious supper followed by a great night's sleep in a very nice, characterful bedroom. Highly recommend this for a short break in a pretty town.

Very comfortable room (we had the small double), cosy pub and superb food for dinner and breakfast. We wanted a treat for a trip away and it was. Great value if booked as a package on their website too. What's not to love?

We stayed for one night in Room 3 ( possibly the best in the house ) which was lovely , big with all mod cons . Wonderful service from attentive staff and a very good supper with substantial helpings. 

Would defniely stay again . About £280 all in.

WOW - amazing hotel

A beautiful experience (in the right room)

Excellent customer service from the staff on duty. Really good deal by booking direct for stay, dinner and breakfast. Lovely quiet location. Very little choice for vegetarians in the restaurant and even though I asked for a simple jacket potato and salad as an alternative to the risotto this was not possible. Unfortunately, very little sleep due to an extremely hard mattress (room 1). Nice place though. 

Lovely place but…

I go regularly though work to stay at The White Hart. The welcome is always sincere and very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and the food is always excellent. As I travel extensively through work I feel qualified to say that The White Hart is right up there with anywhere else I stay. Looking forward to the next vivit.

A Favorite Place to Stay

Lovely warm room to relax in after long drive. Very roomy bathroom with plenty of space for our wash bags. Fluffy, soft, warm & big towels. Only thing I didn’t like was the external entrance to the accommodation was beside the smoking area & the bin was rather disgusting - I’m a non-smoker so found it very unsightly. Rooms were non-smoking & very clean. Excellent instructions for the radiator ensured we had a good nights sleep & rest.

Family Wedding

Thank you to all the team, especially Tania who worked incredibly hard over Christmas - for a perfect stay while visiting family for Christmas. The welcome was impeccable - efficient, friendly and warm - accommodating our needs with effortless grace. The bedrooms are so tasteful and understated, yet lacking nothing. The lights were already on, Christmas music playing on the Robert’s radio, and even a card and shortbreads waiting for us. Breakfast is simple but excellent and clearly of high quality. I’m sorry to tell you we’ll definitely be back next time we are in Somerset! Thank you all so much.
