Amazing hotel and welcoming atmosphere, breakfast is really nice and presented well. As soon as walked in the door you are greeted.
Good high street and plenty of parking on high street . Amazing restaurants on the street very quite little town

Stayed (again) at this amazing B&B. Extremely welcoming, friendly and efficient, and the room (Room 2) very comfortable, clean and warm.  Such a relaxed atmosphere, Jo and Duncan can not do enough to make your stay feel special.  Great location with some interesting shops in the town. Definitely will be returning to stay again!

Another lovely stay at The Moda House. A quick business trip but, as always, very enjoyable. Warm welcome from Duncan and Jo, spotless room and excellent breakfast.

It is always such a joy and very special to stay at this comfortable and relaxing B & B. A brief stay but Room 2 was charming, spacious and the mattress heavenly. Jo and Duncan are extremely welcoming and lovely, with such attention to detail. Breakfast was sourced from local and hand-made products, and a variety of choices.  Always a treat to stay at this excellent B&B - just perfect, thank you.

On arriving I received a very warm welcome from Jo and Duncan.
Room 1, where i stayed, was quiet, spacious and elegantly decorated.  The large bed was extremely comfortable, lending itself to a perfect night's sleep.
Breakfast was a treat with locally sourced goodies - all cooked to perfection.
A lovely weekend stay - simply the best!

I stayed in Room 3 which had wonderful far reaching views to the countryside beyond but also of the quaint High Street and the historic chimney stacks. The room was quiet with extremely comfortable pillows and mattress with luxurious linen.

I very rarely review unless I find somewhere I feel is worth it. Although I only stayed one night the Moda House was excellent. We were greeted by a friendly young lady who couldn’t have been more helpful. The rooms were bursting with character and the bed was as comfortable as any I have slept in. Breakfast was as good as the rest of the hotel, with lots of choices and all fresh produce!

Great location. Beautiful and relaxing space to be in. Courtyard catches the evening sun. Spacious room, comfy bed and pillows for a great night’s sleep. Great hosts… I was only there for a one night stay work trip but was made very welcome - even by the dog. Perfect poached eggs for breakfast too!

We stayed in the newly decorated room 3. Lovely room very clean, large, and full of attention to detail and a great view of the high street. Better than my room at home.! Loved the bathroom products. Chipping Sodbury is very pretty.

Stunning decor, superbly welcoming hosts in Jo and Duncan. Rooms are exquisite, tasteful, and attention to detail in this accommodation is paramount. The decor  and style is stunning yet  intriguing, modern yet quirky... and reflects the travels of the hosts. I loved it. A gem in beautiful Chipping Sodbury. Close to restaurants and pubs, yet standing proud at the top of the wide main street. Seriously worth a stay! Romantic break... visit to Chipping Sodbury... exploring the Cotswold Way... a beautiful part of the country to spend a few days.

Excellent B & B

A lovely weekend stay

Short stay

Comfortable and luxurious accommodation in a beautiful building set in historic Chipping Sodbury. 

I returned to Moda a couple of weeks ago and was not disappointed. Duncan and Jo continue to invest in the property, both financially and in terms of attention to detail and I cannot recommend it enough. I needed to work, which was greatly helped by plenty of space, sockets and good wi-fi. Nice comfy bed and an excellent full English breakfast, with homemade marmalade and jams and local honey from Sodbury End. You leave Moda with a spring in your step!

Another Return Visit

I have always enjoyed staying at Moda. It has a lovely family atmosphere and is now enhanced by some significant building improvements. Jo and Duncan kindly showed me around and I was really impressed, great attention to detail and comfort. Moda has a proud position in the High Street and is the perfect base for business travellers or those wishing to explore this fabulous part of the country. Don't hesitate, book!

Return Visit

I am currently staying at the Moda as I am on business in the area, it's a fine old building which has recently been completely refurbished and has lots of character.
It's a good base to explore the town and nearby attractions with plenty of old pubs and restaurants near by.
I would highly recommend a stay here,Jo and Duncan will make you most welcome.

Very comfortable, faultless room

We stayed in this beautiful house for two nights as wanted to see parts of Bristol and Bath.

Jo made us very welcome and gave us some ideas where to eat dinner in Chipping Sodbury for both the nights we stayed.

Our room was spotlessly clean and with every comfort. Jo had even put out masks, plastic gloves and hand sanitiser for our use which was a lovely thought...

Breakfast was whatever we wanted to eat and we chose poached eggs on toast ( perfectly cooked ) so good we had them the second day too!

Would thoroughly recommend this delightful Bed and Breakfast.

Two Night Stay

Recently had the opportunity to stay at Moda House again after a rather long time. It was such a pleasure to be greeted by my affable hosts who have got hospitality down to a fine art once again now that the lockdown is over. 

My room which was newly refurbished and stylishly decorated, had excellent facilities complete with a wonderful view down Chipping Sodbury high street. Recommend that you request it when you next visit.

Breakfast was up to the same high standard that I recalled from previous visits.

My stay was delightful once again and in these uncertain times consist service and high standards are welcome indeed.
