The rooms were very clean. Staff very helpful. Not enough.  The breakfast was absolutely awful. Rubber or raw fried eggs. No poached, bacon cold, beans warm, mushrooms edible. A couple of dried up tomatoes another day. Morning chef ??? A young lad, obviously doing what he was told. We had a premier room, we requested a room at the back of the main road. Will not be returning. Have been to several Premiers in the past that have always been OK

Awful breakfast

Room was clean and tidy,staff were friendly,big thanks to monika who made us feel very welcome and comfortable🙂breakfast was great and would recommend to anyone who considers going!Everything was super clean and great condition.i would definitely come and stay again

Amazing first time experience

Tried calling the hotel every day for a week before our stay.  Nobody ever picked up the phone. How rude.
We arrived for our stay and were given the keys to our room, it was absolutely freezing. Temp was set at 16degrees and it was a very cold day outside. Room didn't seem to warm up so went down to reception later to ask for a room swap. Unfortunately there was nobody on reception. Knocked on the office door but received no reply. I was surprised as I could hear people talking. Knocked again but again no reply. After we came back  after an evening out, I hoped to find a member of staff to talk about the cold room but could not find anyone. Our room was still absolutely freezing so we slept in our clothes. When we went down the next morning, reception was unmanned so we knocked on the office door again. We could hear voices but nobody came to the door. After waiting a few minutes, a lady came from the restaurant and asked if she could assist. I explained the issue and she then went to the office we had tried, she opened the door andTHREE members of staff were sat there chatting!!!!
Eventually the manager arrived and we explained the issue with the freezing room. Apparently they have a master switch in the office which can reset the temperature. 
Well thats great but nowhere does that information appear anywhere but as the people in the office are so unprofessional that they do not bother to answer the door, it would not have made any difference.
I stated I wanted to claim the goodnight guarantee and was handed a card with the appropriate contact emails on, only the card was out of date and the web page no longer existed.
When I did finally manage to log the issue, the reply stated a minimum of 25 days for a reply. It took 25 days and said it would refund the money but I had to wait a further 25 days for that to happen.

So 50 days for a refund under the goodnight guarantee, that is absolutely disgraceful.

Stayed here numerous times for work. This time we stayed for 4 nights .Service as always was great .Room very clean and comfy .The food in the restaurant we have to say was the best we have ever had in a Premier inn.
One minor gripe ,Parking is a challenge as the spacings are very tight for 2 cars with some entitled customers taking up 2 spaces for that reason. But still a 5 star from us

Good hotel with good food

It seemed more like a five star hotel to me given the welcome I received, check in progress and concierge style assistance the manager gave me Chris sorted out so many things for me. The room was spotless and heavenly. I've stayed here before and would stay here again.

Terrific Service

Room was nice, apart from cobwebs hanging from ceiling lights! Comfortable bed. 
Breakfast/dining room, looked and felt dirty. Floors & tables dirty. 
Breakfast looked awful, eggs undercooked. Dry baked beans, soggy hash browns, no black pudding left, an hour before they close. 
Understaffed, only one person on, so difficult for them to keep on top of cleaning all! 
No glasses. No cups. 
Needless to say, decided not to stay for breakfast. 
Just didn't feel a clean amd inviting environment to eat in!

And very attentive. Disappointed that our bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and I was kept awake by the upstairs room enjoying nocturnal activities that I could hear!  Food was ok..  when we left no one was available to chat too about the little complaints we had , just to maybe put some kind of sound proofing in and change mattress on bed.  Such a shame.. but would go back.. central

Had a great stay here. We visited for a friends wedding and needed a local base. The standard of premier inns I always high so we knew we would be safe here. We somehow managed to book a premier plus room without realising, which was a very nice room and was still a really good price. We really enjoyed breakfast and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Lovely Stay

Excellent stay at Premier Inn. Was able to do early check in without pre-booking. Almost always choose Premier inn over the competition. Would do so again. A friend stayed at the Travel Lodge down the road and remarked that it was a bit dirty. Says it all really. Very consistent standards and experience at Premier Inn.

Excellent stay at Premier Inn Witney

Stayed here for business recently and found it to be exactly how a Premier Inn should be. The staff were friendly, the parking was great, rooms and general areas were clean and the food was excellent. There was an overall good atmosphere, which I can only imagine is due to the attitude of the management and the team that were on duty. Not all Premier Inn’s are like this and I could tell this was different from the moment I was welcomed in reception. Well done, I hope head office recognises the positive attitude and hard work of the team running this hotel.
