Friendly atmosphere from Keith and Yvonne - very comfortable and clean en-suite room with a king size bed. The breakfasts are very tasty and filling with great choices. Close to the sea front and a short walk into Whitby town centre. Street parking with a permit that The Europa provides. Would stay here again - book direct with The Europa for a better deal

We had Room 4, which is the largest. Best shower and cubicle we have found in a B and B, comfy bed with good pillows and smelt so fresh. Very clean and tidy. The owners were very friendly and the cooked breakfast was excellent with ample choices. Definitely will go back.

We stayed for two days and it was excellent. They were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, room clean and comfy. Would stay again.

Fabulous B&B
 Yvonne and Keith make you feel  welcome. The room was lovely and had every thing you could need including Yorkshire tea and hot chocolate! Keith's breakfast went down a treat and had lots of different options . Definitely will be returning to the Europa.

Yvonne and Keith are very accommodating and run a excellent Guest House. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was first class with many options to meet everyone’s needs. I’ve no hesitation to book again.

Excellent stay. Extremely friendly, clean hotel .great location . Will definitely return to this hotel if visiting whitby.  Definitely recommend. Best night's sleep I've had in ages , the lady even washed and ironed my jeans (thanks again !) Great breakfast to start thr day ahead .

The Europa was easy to find and we parked right outside it, we were given a warm welcome and all the required  information about keys / breakfast etc, our room was lovely and spacious, it was scrupulously clean as was the bathroom and had everything you could want.The bed was comfortable and we both had a good nights sleep, plenty of hot water in the shower and the breakfast was delicious. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and if back in Whitby I will certainly like to return.

Just returned from a brill weekend at whitby and stayed at the Europa on Hudson street. Our host were fantastic and looked after us really well. Cant rate our stay highly enough. The rooms are well finished and have plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. Room temp just right.

The Europa is a lovely hotel. Keith and Yvonne are the perfect hosts, know lots about the area and make a great breakfast! Rooms are clean and comfortable with full size toiletries in the bathroom and a tray with plenty of tea, coffee and milk. Parking is by a scratchcard/permit scheme (you get the card off Keith/Yvonne)  It costs  £5 for 2 days and we were lucky enough to grab a space right outside the hotel.  Location is great as well, with everything within walking distance. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, we would definitely return.

What a lovely little guest house. Very clean and great breakfast 👌 the owners Yvonne and Keith couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect. If you want a drink in a different kind of pub, they also run the Quirky Den down Grape Street, really friendly pub and definitely Quirky

Europa Hotel

Easy to find.  Clean and tidy.  Friendly owners.  Very comfortable bed and well sound proof (couldn't tell we had a torrential downpour outside).  Amazing Breakfast that just keeps coming.... Lots of variety and plenty of Yorkshire Tea.  4 day parking scratchcard can be purchased (£10) to allow parking in the area.  Only issue in the whole process was their phone number wasn't up to date on Hotels.com when I booked.

Quite a Gem/Lucky find.

My partner & I often go to Whitby but the usual place we stay at was booked up so decided to stay here and so glad we did . We arrived just before 10 am and was just expecting to get a parking permit and go off for the day, but we where told our room was available if we wanted to check in now, what a bonus!

The guest house was cosy, clean and very quite. The breakfast was scrumptious which set us up for the day. The bed was so comfortable which gave us the best nights sleep. It’s situated close enough to the harbour but far enough away to not be bothered by all the tourists.

The owner Keith was flying solo, as his wife was away, so with help from his son and sister they made us feel welcome and looked after us brilliantly!

What a gem we have found and will definitely book direct again next time!

Outstanding and fantastic location and fab hosts

Top marks for the Europa. 
On arrival a warm friendly welcome from Yvonne and Keith who showed us to our rooms.
The rooms were great, very clean, great decorations, enough tea, coffee , milk and hot chocolate for a small army, the ensuite bathrooms fantastic. Also bed really comfy.
The breakfast was amazing cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast and choice of cooked breakfast with lashings of tea and coffee.
The Europa is in a great location, it's on a quiet road close to the whale bones and views over the harbour and a short walk down to the town.
Massive thank you to Yvonne and Keith for a super time 


Outstanding and great location 

Partner booked a few nights away in this great family run B&B. The room was a great size, have stayed in some right dire places, with all facilities you need.

Keith & Yvonne were great hosts with nothing being too much trouble.

Breakfast was huge and lunch is definitely not needed after that.

The only issue is, which they don’t have any say in, is parking.  It may take you a while to find a space or you may be lucky to find one just out side, it’s pot luck.

Would definitely recommend it if you want a pleasant friendly homely place to stay whilst coming to Whitby.

Great little find

We stayed at the europa on two nights in august, had a lovely stay, stayed in room 4 with a big king size bed, the room was clean and really nicely decorated,  with really modern en-suite, the owners ,Yvonne,Keith, could not enough for us , excellent room, excellent breakfast excellent stay all together.would recommend thanks

Wedding anniversary

Absolutely fantastic stay, Yvonne and keith are fantastically amazing hosts who will help in anyway they can, we even stayed an extra two nights 🙂 Comfy rooms (we had three, due to the xtra nights etc ) lovely breakfast (even the hash browns where nice Yvonne lol x) so impressed we have booked up for September. All I can add is, don't hesitate book today, you won't regret it.

The owners were very welcoming and informative, sorting the keys, our parking permit and settling us into our room (Room 4) in no time. 
The room was well decorated, spotless and well stocked with complimentary toiletries, bottled water and goodies on the bed and tea tray. The bed was really comfortable and we both slept well. The bathroom was clean and modern with a huge shower. There was a double wardrobe and drawers, more than enough storage for everything you need for your stay. 
The TV was good and plenty of choice if you’re stopping in for the evening. Two comfy tub style chairs to sit on too. 
Breakfast was really tasty and there was plenty of choice (including marmite 😊).
In our honest opinion, the Europa is comfortable and excellent value for money. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
