One of our party had stayed here about 8 years previously. So we booked for a 2 night stay and were pleasantly surprised to find it has been updated during Covid. Great location. Lovely bright sylish bar area. Nice clean and pleasant rooms. Bit of a treck to rooms 8 and 7 but worth it. Nice substancial, self service, breakfast. Only grumbles were only scrabled egg offered and no fried eggs. Also cold places. But thats me being picky. Were greeted by the the ever cheerful and friendly Wyne who seemed to be every where doing every thing all at once. Smashing chap who certainly derserves a mention. Yes we would book agai returing for nights when the bar is open later that 10pm as on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
