Brillient friendly ace to go to eat and drink or afternoon tea great for cake and snacks as well as full meals .the tea room has a large conservatory and French window to a garden area .there isxa small car park but plenty of spa es around the cafe .you can have parties   or baby showers anything realy the owner is very has a good sense of humor .the food is served and presented realy well nothing is to much trouble I hoghlyvtecomend this place

Just back from the long weekend at Aber Falls and this little hotel is fabulous. Sol is possibly one of the best hosts you will ever come across, she pours her heart and soul into this little diamond and it really shows. It's like a home away from home, there was a little basket in our room that had different types of breakfast bits cereal, porridge and pastry. There's even hot chocolate in the basket, a never ending supply of tea and coffee the best bit about that was its not a tiny little cup but a proper mug with butterflies on it to match the theme. It's in an ideal location to take in Aber Falls themselves and Sol has a wealth of information on hand of local activities and places to see. I cannot speak highly enough of this little place and how perfect it was if you want somewhere that is comfortable, quite and relaxing this is the only place to go in North Wales.

Stayed here for an extended weekend and had a wonderful time... Sol and Sheila are amazing!! The rooms were so gorgeous and Sol has done a beautiful job with them, they are so clean and comfortable, from bottles of water in the fridge to tea and coffee and a breakfast basket you are completely spoilt from the second you walk in the door, we were made feel completely at home, I would highly recommend everyone to them, it was truly a great break away and a home from home, staying at the base of waterfalls was a magical experience and they just topped it all off with their charm... I will definitely be back...thank you ladies for making it so enjoyable 🦋🦋

We stayed at Aber falls Butterfly rooms for two nights  and had a lovely time there . The rooms are super clean , cozy and well decorated . Everything was just perfect , breakfast basket , free wi-fi , TV. The owner is very friendly and whiling to help with planning trips around Snowdonia NT. 
Great location!! 50 min walk to Aber falls , 10 min drive to Bangor town. Highly recommended. 

Aber Falls Butterfly Bed and Breakfast was delightful.  The people were friendly and only too willing to please.  Unfortunately we arrived much later than expected, but this did not deter Sol and Sheila (Mother and Daughter), they were most friendly and welcoming.  Sheila even provided us with the most delicious cottage pie (best one Ive ever tasted), so we didnt have to turn out looking for food at that late hour.  The breakfast was equally as good, must try the 'scramble egg' by the way!
The room was spacious and spotlessly clean.
Would strongly recommend this B&B, beautiful location and so handy for reaching places of interest.
We will be back - for more of that cottage pie please!?!

We had tickets to visit the Gin distillery in Aberfalls so we looked for a B&B. We found the Butterfly rooms in Aberfalls( sorry can’t spell the Welsh name). The rooms are pleasant just a bedroom and bathroom with breakfast. The staff/owners were delightful and so so helpful. The scones with jam and cream are lovely in the tea rooms. If you need 2 over night stays for visiting the area and going upto the falls and other walks it is ideal

Perfect from beginning to end

We visited here following a lovely walk up to the Falls and have to be honest in saying that we were very disappointed.  As nice as the staff were, the same cannot be said for the very, very slow service provided.  We had been looking forward to the heavily advertised "Scones, with Clotted Cream and a cup of tea/coffee" only to find that they had no scones left by half past three.  When we arrived we were informed to take a seat and that orders were taken at the tables but after waiting for around 10 minutes, nobody came out and we went to the bar to order (this is when we were told about there being no scones).  I ordered 3 Lattes (one iced) & our second choice of cake, a bottle of water with 3 cakes and a bowl of soup. And then we waited!!!.   ONE coffee arrived after about 5 minutes.  A further five minutes later the second coffee arrived and we were then told they had run out of ice for the third.  We asked for a jug of water instead of the iced latte but had to go in to ask/collect the bottle of water that we had originally ordered and asked for another coffee. Still no sign of the cakes.  The jug of water arrived, with no glasses, another wait. The final coffee was brought out with the glasses and finally - when all of the coffees had been drank, the cakes arrived for one of them to be frozen solid in the middle.....still no sign of the soup!!  This followed once all the cakes had been eaten (the frozen one returned and replaced by the only other one that was tempting - and now my third choice).  The soup arrived and was definitely not worth the wait - the bowl was only half full, this is no exaggeration.   
We finished and paid our bill (almost £20) and foolishly said nothing - something I often do and always regret as I did not want to cause offence at the time - like I said, the owner was very friendly and the cakes we had were very nice.  Just wouldn't go back and would not recommend to friends. Really wouldn't like to see how they coped with a full cafe!  A hint to the owners, maybe a notice outside to inform people when you have run out of the only thing that you advertise on the outside of the building.
