lovely stay.  had a court yard room and was very comfortable

Warm friendly welcome,  Emrys and the rest of the staff, couldn't do enough for us, a large party of 33 rugby players and supporters. 
Food was excellent. 
The staff were very helpful and full of ideas for things to do and see in the surrounding areas.

Emrys was absolutely amazing. We travelled from South Wales for a girls rugby game. And the hospitality we received was outstanding. We pre ordered out food as there was 33 of us. And everyone of the meals was correct and delicious.
Rooms were amazing, clean, and very comfortable 👌

Fabulous stay. Lovely friendly hotel. Comfy bed and a beautiful breakfast. Staff very accommodating & friendly. Had a great stay in the hotel. Our family room was massive and very comfortable. Definitely recommend this hotel. Will stay !

Lovely rooms with old fashioned furniture, full of character! Would stay again

Lovely rooms and lovely hotel. Good location and sufficient parking when we got there.Our rooms were nice. One had very recently been refurbished and there were a couple of unfinished things, but the staff dealt with those really quickly when we mentioned them.Nice bar for the evening and good breakfast (although extending the breakfast hours might be good - 8-9am on a Sunday was a little earlier than we'd have liked).Overall, lovely stay and will definitely come back (visiting family in the area).

Needed a cheap clean place to stay for a night and it didn’t disappoint. Characterful room. Quiet and clean. Good car park handy for Holyhead port.

Nobody being pushy nice and calm and professional

I read some bad reviews on this place buttook a chance. We had a great time and were treated great. I we would stay here again.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, giving us directions to get to the location of the party we were attending. Our room excellent, with lots of character including a four poster bed. The bar area was lovely, very clean and reasonable prices. The only minor criticism was the timing of breakfast. 8.00-9.00 is a bit early on a Sunday morning, especially if you have had a beer or two on the Saturday morning🙈. However we found a very nice cafe just up the road, so all was well. We will definitely be returning to The Bull

Lovely Hotel 

Nice hotel - very welcoming.

A Victorian era country pub located on the town's central square. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our family room was large, clean and with comfortable beds. The building is a bit tired but new owner has plans to renovate. Noise from main pub door repeatedly closing reverberated into accommodation. Restaurant meals were generous.

Anglesey visit

Location is great. The new owners are doing it up at the moment and I'm sure it will be fab when its done. Currently a bit dated.The room was big and spacious, which was great. The hotel has character,  and a history which I was unaware of when i booked.The staff were great, all very helpful and friendly. You can tell it is a close run business. They do a great job 👍

Great stay here on a flying visit to Anglesey.  Friendly team all the way through the hotel. Everyone we met !   Easy check in.  Twin Room was great.  Beds comfy. Bathroom all good. Room v clean & tidy.  Sadly no food on but we had been made aware. Hotel were happy to let you bring a takeaway into the pub if you wanted.  Beers v good - I had coors. Son went for Madri.  Good nights sleep.  Thanks

Good rooms !

Just had a two night stay at The Bull Hotel Llangefni.  The hotel became under new ownership Dec 2022 and you can clearly see the great work they have done to the place. Secure parking in the courtyard which looks great.  Rooms are decorated keeping with the look of the hotel ( to be honest you could still smell the nearly painted walls in some areas ).  The bar is large with plenty of seating and is well stocked with some guest ales.
The staff are a credit to the hotel and always asked about your day, nothing was a problem for them.
The one and only downside at the moment is the kitchens are having a refurb so no food available but this was made clear on checking in and alternatives were recommended. 

A great base to tour Anglesey.

Polite, efficient, friendly staff. My room was extremely clean as was the bathroom. Downside was no food available, but to be fair this was clearly explained at booking time. I understand the Hotel will be bringing the restaurant and kitchen back into service at some stage and this would make a huge difference.

We booked a 3x night stay in four poster bedroom. On arrival we found the shower head to be missing from bathroom. On informing Vicky on reception, she immediately contacted her General Manager and secured a healthy discount and free ( delicious) meal. Vicky, John , David and Rhos in the kitchens, could not of provided us with any better service, if we'd paid full 5* prices, they were amazing!! Food at hotel is good well presented and very tasty for a good price. Llangefni, is not a tourist hotspot, but provides a very god base for exploring the rest of Anglesey, as all tourist locations are within a 15-20 min drive.

Dated but clean and comfy with outstanding customer Service

So, just returned from a five night stay at the bull hotel. Lovely building but needs some tlc by the brewery to bring it back to its former glory. Lovely staff and the food is really good.....prosecco sorbet highly recommended. Comfy bed, hot water and a working shower.... what more can you ask for. If you want five star luxury then go somewhere else but if you just want a place to have a good meal and rest your head then this hotel will do nicely. Its also well placed as a base to explore the island.

Needs investment by brewery

Beautiful building requiring some investment that Brains will not provide, staff were so friendly rooms comfortable food lovely and reasonably priced a proper Welsh welcome both days! To top it all apparently it is a haunted hotel which considering g it’s age is to be expected and adds to the charm of this place! Come on Brains your missing a trick this place could be amazing with a little money spent on it! You have top class staff and a stunning building!!
