Excellent location. Covid basically denied us entry into the rest of the house as safety precautions were in force which was such a shame. Also there was no breakfast due to Covid and that was mentioned in the website and on arrival. The house itself is gorgeous, maybe in need of a little investment in the future as I can't see a house like this being cheap to run. It's a quirky building...somewhat reminds me of Norman Bates' house on the hill in Psycho combined with Fawlty Towers but all in a good way. The room was spacious and clean with great views across the channel. Usual mod cons included. There's parking for about three cars which could be a problem if the hotel was full. The hosts are fab, friendly and so laid back and again it was a shame that we couldn't share a nightcap and get to know them better. I would thoroughly recommend staying here and if we return to the IOW we will be.
