Red Lion Hotel, Hillingdon

I stayed for two nights at the Red Lion last weekend, this was my fourth(?) visit to this lovely old pub / hotel and once more it didn't disappoint. I travelled down from Manchester on Friday morning, arriving at just before 9am. Very nice and professional welcome from the gentleman on reception who told me my room was available and completed the formalities, offered to help me in with my luggage which was nice. It's always a pleasure these days to return somewhere to find that standards have been maintained and service is as it always has been - first class. The room was very well appointed, safe, TV, fridge with complimentary water and milk, trouser press and a very well stocked hospitality tray. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. A voucher for a free drink at the bar is a lovely and welcome touch. The Red Lion is in a great location with secure free parking]g and is very quiet. Entry to the car park is controlled via a barrier and the code to exit is provided at Reception. I didn't dine during this stay but enjoyed the bar facilities, again couldn't fault anything. Excellent value for money and another great stay means I will definitely be returning next year.
