Definitely worth staying here! Laura arranged for us to have an early check in, which we were very grateful for as we were attending a wedding. She was very friendly and efficient and nothing was too much bother! 
The room was a good size, very clean, and everything you could need was provided. We had a great sleep! 
Breakfast was pre ordered and delivered to our table by a happy smiling Laura within minutes of us sitting down. Freshly cooked and tasty, a perfect start to our day!
Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at the Crown and Anchor Inn  Findhorn Village and it was fabulous. The beautiful room I was in had glimpses of the Bay. It’s a rustic 300 year old building that oozes character and screams Scottish charm.  The bed was so comfortable and the size of the room generous.  I ate downstairs in the restaurant and the food was delicious especially the lemon meringue pie made on the premises.  It’s the best I’ve ever tasted. I stayed two nights and ordered it twice. The staff were so helpful and welcoming it had a home away from home vibe.  I will return to the quaint seaside village that is Findhorn and also to the Crown and Anchor Inn. 

This was a stopover on our way to the Highlands.  We only stayed one night and enjoyed every minute.  Though it was raining for our stay, the pub was buzzing with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.  We were found a table for our meal very quickly.  We sat in the conservatory and enjoyed the lovely sea views from our table.

Though small, our room was perfectly adequate for our needs.  Breakfast filled us up for the day.

FINALLY The Crown & Anchor (Findhorn) has new management! Just been for a family late lunch and have to say we were delighted. The new management were very welcoming, the staff were all friendly and the wood fire made the place nice and cosy. The menu had a great selection as did the extensive specials board. My Mussel’s starter & Shetland Scallops main were lovely as were all other courses in our party. Add to this the large selection of beers, gins and whisky’s we were tempted to stay the rest of the afternoon 😁

Just had another lovely meal at the Crown and Anchor. Favourite place to eat. Great food with the added bonus of some friendly banter with the owner Fin and the locals.
Highly recommend it for a meal.

We went to the crown and anchor for lunch. We chose the seafood. Hubby had smoked mackerel with salad a and wastle bread and butter. I had the scallops with salad and bread and butter. We then shared the seafood platter. This consisted of smoked salmon, prawn Marie rose, salmon fillet, roll mop herring, smoked mackerel, salad and bread and butter. It was all so fresh and presented well. I had a large chardonnay,  hubby had a pint of lager. All in all it came to £44. Excellent value. Service was fast and staff were pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended if you are in the area

I had an amazing stay at the Crown & Anchor Findhorn,  I was made to feel very welcome , the room was very comfortable and the food was amazing, such a great selection of local fresh fish, the menu had so much to offer. I  will definitely be returning when I am in next in Moray, thanks to everyone for making my stay so wonderful

This 18th century hotel is situated in a gorgeous location.  The food is decent, and the beer well kept (we enjoyed the homemade cheesecake).  The whisky bar is extensive and recommended.  A lovely couple run this place and are great company, and very biker friendly too!  One to return too for sure.

We had a great meal at the Crown  to celebrate my sisters birthday while staying in Findhorn. The Cullen Skimk is a must!. We can’t recommend the Crown too highly, great food, well kept beer, a huge selection of whiskey and a welcoming atmosphere.

Visited with family as stayed for the weekend. Lovely meal and drink choices, warm log burner .
Food was good portions and tasty.
Outside area for warmer weather.
Lovely area near thd water definately visit again.

Meal for 4. What a difference a change of landlord can make. Very positive experience with nice staff to good food. No complaints and we will be back again to try other items from the menu. The previous land lord was a grumpy idiot with zero people skills. New landlord complete polar opposite. We have given this place a miss for the past 5 years after a bad experience but I am glad to say we are back. No doubt many others in the local area will feel the same. Keep up the good work.

We have had a lovely 3 night stay at the Crown and Anchor and our two double rooms were clean and comfortable and had lovely views over the harbour. Fin the landlord was considerate and helpful and the bar area is full of character and history, the perfect place to sit on a wet or windy day. We look forward to staying again.

Amazing Stay at Crown & Anchor Inn Findhorn

Visited the crown and anchor last night with family, for evening meal. What a great meal it was, balmoral chicken to die for, fish and chips above excellence, nice welcoming staff, mein host an absolute gentleman. Quick service, roaring log fire, heard other customers commenting on how good thier food was. Looking forward to next visit.

If you put extra stuff on the plates ensure you write it on the menu and if we ask for something to be taken off the plate ensure that happens too. New management aren’t doing a very good job. Anyone would think it was the same owners as the captains table.
