Absolutely marvellous!   Beautiful rooms, extremely well appointed, quiet and serene. You would not believe there was a main road going by the front of the house. Vicki was so welcoming and made us feel really cherished. The breakfast was the utter tops, with everything you could wish for. Thank you so much

My room and bathroom were clean and set out beautifully.

A Delicious cooked breakfast. Lovely coffee. Fresh fruit and I counted at least 16 different types of cereal - all dietary tastes catered for!

The warmth of welcome was wonderful.  Vikki, her incredibly well-behaved dog and partner couldn't do enough for us to make sure we were happy.  The room was super-clean and breakfast was lush.

This is a very quaint building and interior in a quiet, secluded area. The hostess of the B&B is very friendly and greeted us warmly. There are plenty of options for breakfast and the hostess was happy to help us out with local restaurants (even made our booking!)

The room was warm and the shower isn't ideal as there is nowhere to to secure it high up. But overall, a 5 star visit (there is also a dog but it isn't allowed in the B&B area, so cute!)

We stayed for one night while attending a family birthday party nearby. We were so glad we picked the Old School House rather than one of the motel like sterile places that seen to be everywhere. It really is a lovely building, originally a Victorian school with loads of character inside and out. The guest house is comfortable, cosy and spotlessly clean with everything you could wish for in your room including bottled water, hand gel and wipes. The host Vicki could not have been more helpful and accommodating and the breakfast choices the next day were excellent including home made jams and marmalade (made by Vicki). If you want shiny chrome and steel, indifferent service and identical rooms this is not the place for you. If you appreciate comfort, cleanliness and excellent service stay here. Cannot fail to mention Hugo the dog, what a star, so well behaved and the waggiest tail ever, I definitely fell in love!

I stayed here for one night during a business trip to Sutton Coldfield. I stayed in a single room which was perfectly cosy and spotlessly clean. There were lots of lovely toiletries available in the bathroom, a really nice selection of hot drinks, biscuits  and bottle of water too. I'm currently pregnant and not used to being away from home so didn't fancy eating out alone. The host, Vicki was extremely accommodating and cooked me a delicious 2 course meal. I also forgot my toothbrush and Vicki very kindly went to the shops while I ate dinner to buy one for me. Breakfast the next day was delicious, a bacon butty, fruit salad and a pot of tea (all upon my request). There were lots of options to choose from including a full English, vegetarian breakfast and lots of yogurts and cereals. 

I left a USB stick behind in the room, Vicki contacted me straight away to let me know and posted it out first class that same day! Again, going above and beyond with her care and commitment to her customers. 

Thank you Vicki. I will stay here again whenever I need to come back to Suttom Coldfield.

After a technical mistake booking the wrong night Vicki was a life saver and found me a room anyway.
A lovely place to stop and great B&B.  Backs on to the canal and open countryside which is beautiful.

An exceptional stay!  Our hostess, Vicki, greeted us on arrival with tea and biscuits and gave us tour of the facilities.  We were introduced to Hugo, a very well mannered yellow Labrador who knew his limits and refused to step out from his private quarters.
Vicki then showed us to our room - with one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in - lovely facilities and a great range of teas and coffees.  There was no milk, Vicki doesn’t like those horrid little pots of UHT so she provides fresh milk as required!
After a good nights sleep we came downstairs to a superbly cooked breakfast as pre-ordered - full English for me and poached eggs for my wife.  This was preceded by a wonderful fresh fruit salad (our choice from the range of cereals, juices, yoghurts etc) and followed by toast and a range of preserves in those little pots - but not bought, no, home made by Vicki!
We stayed a further night which was equally well served and left that morning, after another fabulous breakfast, with sweets pressed into our hands for the journey home.
Undeniably the only place we will stay in the area in future - as long as she has a room available - to quote 'The Terminator' “We'll be back!”

Despite us making a very short notice booking, the host was extremely helpful and accommodating. Comfortable and cosy room, and delicious, generous breakfast. Would absolutely recommend or stay again if back in the area.

Our 3rd stay at this B+B and again we are made welcome by the the owner Vicky . The old school house is a hidden gem and never disappoints . The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable and have all you need Tv ,hot drinks and bottled water . Breakfast is spot on and plentiful . Large garden with seating and fruit trees . We will be staying again on our next visit to Kingsbury . Many thanks Vicky for making our stay welcome and very enjoyable .

Situated just off the M6 toll, I arrived late on the 8th of September. Vicki was very welcoming and showed me to my room and took my breakfast order with no fuss. 3 words to describe this accommodation is quiant, quiet and clean. My first time staying in the Midlands and Vicki did the area proud.

Close to local amenities, a nearby pub in a sleepy part of the world. 

I slept well and the breakfast was fantastic, full spread with great variety. 

Car parking is free, with bar and WiFi facilities. Perfect for a business trip or for people wanting to stay to explore the local area which is quite beautiful.

Would highly recommend and ill be staying again in the near future.

Granddaughter 18 birthday

I stayed with 3 other colleagues at the Old School House over the Bank Holiday weekend. It's an old school now put to very good use.
The rooms are always clean and tidy, with everything you would want in the bedroom and bathroom.
The breakfast is fantastic, such a wide range of very good food.
Vicky, the owner, is very flexible, thoughtful and nothing is too much trouble. She went that 'extra mile' to ensure we we well looked after. She was particularly helpful with one of our party who has significant food allergies.
