Busy village pub, very old so lots of low beams (banged my head going up the stairs; no signage, so that could be improved), friendly service, good beer, very good food, generous portions and excellent value for money. Excellent choice if you are in need of a room in the Cotswolds at a sensible price

Bedroom was a bit tired but pleasant over night stay. Decent size room and ensuite.Didn’t get chance to sample the food.

The property is quite old with beams and original features. The room was clean and comfortable , with water, tea/coffee and toiletries. Despite being a pub it was very quiet. You need transport or rely on uber. Food was lovely, breakfast was hot and plenty of it, and hosts were very nice and helpful. Would stay here again.

Lovely welcoming pub,this is how pubs should be.Staff excellent very friendly,breakfast lovely plentiful very tasty,a good selection of meals cooked there,had a steak cooked to perfection and chips to die for.rooms clean and well set out,got everything you need in there very short distance to pub area.Car parking very good.i stayed there 2 nights but definitely wanted to stay longer. Respect to the staff with there hard work they do and excellent service. Thank you pete

Great place to stop for the night before an event taking place locally. Really good welcome, and amazing breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts.

Beautiful, picturesque, and quaint yet very comfortable, clean and at a remarkably reasonable price, The College Arms was a real treat. Our bed was very comfortable, dinner and breakfast portions were very generous and very reasonably priced. We will certainly be back when next in the area.

Great value

We stayed in Aragon for 2 nights when attending a wedding nearby. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable but could do with a few tweaks this did not mar our stay.However the food both at breakfast and evening was excellent with breakfast being outstanding. The property is period and as such is always going to have its niggles. Thank you for a lovely stay

Excellent friendly pub

For us this was perfect. We were there visiting gardens in the area, and 2 of our favorites were 7 minutes away! We took a walk the first day and just minutes from the hotel was a pasture full of sheep and lambs. Thatch roof cottages right around the corner. Rich with character. Lovely breakfast in the mornings, and tasty choices for supper. But the best perk was the people. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, evenings spent talking and sipping wine with new friends!

Perfect Cotswold Adventure

We stayed for 1 night and enjoyed staying here, staff were very friendly, pub is very nice though we didn't have time to sample anything in the evening. Rooms were clean and tidy. We stayed in Henry's room. Being critical I would say they could do with a new bed - there is plenty of room to get a king or even 2 large doubles in there, the existing bed was noisy and uncomfortable. Also, the stairs up to the room are treacherous, they need work - one step in particular you could easily fall down if not paying attention. The chair in the room was also so light weight I wouldn't have wanted to sit on it for fear of breakage. Breakfast was really good, although again being critical I would say the hash brown and black pudding could have done with being a bit longer - imo they should be both hot and crispy which these weren't so 8/10 for the brekky. But for £80 a night great value.

Very good - could be great with a couple of tweaks

We stayed one night, after spending the day at Warwick Castle, and prior to enjoying a day in Stratford. It was perfectly located for our needs, and the staff were friendly. We had a great dinner at the Indian restaurant on-site, and the cooked-to-order breakfast in the morning was delicious. Our family room was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff, pleasant room up some steep stairs (this is an old building). Be aware this is a Pub so is quite noisy until late at night, the smoking area is also near to the bathroom window so we had smoke at the back and the front to contend with - had to close both windows.The pub also has an on site India Restaurant which was very good and reasonably priced.Overall, a great stay.

Great stay in the Cotswolds

Lovely warm welcome from all the staff at The College Arms, felt very homely. Everyone was very helpful and provided everything we asked for.  We didn't take our dog but the room and the pub was dog friendly.  We ate both nights in the Indian Restaurant and the staff there were also friendly and helpful.  The village is very quiet and there wasn't a lot of road noise.  The pub is very old so don't expect perfect, it is a little quirky.  My only criticism would be that it was very hot in our room and we couldn't open any of the windows except in the bathroom. Breakfast was very well organised and freshly cooked.

Warm and Friendly Welcome

Lovely place to stay, friendly helpful staff, clean and characterful room, comfy bed. Popular pub with locals as we all enjoyed the Euro footbal. Lovely quaint village with lovely thatched rooves and church. Good parking and Good value for money. Not far from great places like Stratford or lovely surrounding countryside. Very thankful for the stay.
