We had a lovely stay at Cuanna House .. a great room with everything you need in the right places! A very warm welcome from Catherine, who was a wonderful host and insisted on leaving us some breakfast treats out even though we were leaving at 6 am for the ferry! What a wonderful end to our excellent Hebrides holiday! Can’t wait to come back

We stayed in Cuanna a couple of nights ago at the end of completing the Hebridean Way. So we arrived grubby, peaty and unclean at Cuanna which, it has to be said, is one of the most tasteful and stylish B and B’s I have ever stayed in. It’s unassuming on the outside, but on the inside it has Victorian style, with dark polished floors, thick carpets, a sweeping staircase and an opulent feel. The room we had was the same. A fabulous bathroom with an enormous slipper bath to soak in and black and white tiling. The wonderful owner was unfazed by unkempt and bedraggled appearance, our rucksacks and walking boots and was kind and helpful in looking after us. Thank you for your kindness.

If you want clean,this is the place to go ! Catherine keeps this house immaculate. Huge bathrooms,with large shower and baths. Large bedrooms heated. Every surface in every room polished and wiped clean. A wonderful breakfast in a dining room with large dining table. Nice to meet and talk to fellow travellers.Close to the town and all amenities. A delightful stay,highly recommend

We stayed here after finishing cycling the Hebridean Way. Initially a bit hard to find as there wasn’t any sign on the house. Once there, we received a very warm welcome by our friendly host and her super cute dachshund.

The townhouse and garden to the rear both are just beautiful. Our beautiful room was really very spacious with good storage and a very comfortable bed. Good-sized bathroom with big walk-in shower and toiletries. Everything spotlessly clean.

Very tasty cooked breakfast in a lovely dining room. Bit pricier than other places on the islands, but it is extremely nice and the host couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating. The ferry terminal is only about 5 minutes walk away.

We stayed in the row house for three nights and could not have been happier. We had comfortable twin beds in room 1 with a huge bathroom that had both a walk in shower and a tub. All necessary items were provide for a pleasant stay and breakfasts were very good as well. Katherine could not have been nicer!

The only thing I wish was that we could control our own room temperature as it was a bit cool.

BLISS - our stay at Cuanna House was perfection.  Catherine so welcoming and helpful.  Beds are so comfortable, beautiful room. Most definitely would book again if visiting the Island.  One comment I'd make is that the photographs of the house do not capture sufficiently just what a lovely house this is.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cosy Cuanna B&B. The room had tasteful period furniture with an excellent shower, tea, coffee and super comfortable bed. We had an excellent night’s sleep!

It was a shame the veggie options were a little limited on the breakfast front, a veggie sausage wouldn’t have gone amiss. However, a bowl of fresh strawberries was incredibly welcome!

Would definitely recommend!

Room was well equipped with everything you would need for an overnight stay. Everything was spotless. Nice breakfast choice. Central location. Hosts were very helpful in recommending resturant and encourging us to book ferries. Would stay again.
