Was wandering around St Davids and noticed this truck and just had to partake. They have a vegan pasty which was huge and delicious. Just up the hill from the roundabout and the cathedral.....you can't miss it

St David's for a 1st time visit. Smelt the pasties as we walked by -hoped they'd have some left by the time came for us to have one.
We had a lamb and a chicken /spices /leek one.
Ate them on the steps of the cross,in the sort of square (under an umbrella).
Delicious-more than made up for the rain.

We all had the lamb mince pasties,  they were excellent, the pastry was perfect,  not at all greasy.  We were told by the person serving that the lamb Oggis had won gold in the National pie championships in Melton mowbray which does not surprise me. 

I think this accolade should be more visible to the public,  it is well deserved and would surely boost your sales!

St. Davids is very small, so everything is close, but this B&B has an excellent location, right in the middle of the town, just across the Town Hall (There's a bus stop just across the B&B). We were hiking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and we stayed in St. Davids only for one day.

Our room had two beds and a separated, though private, bathroom. The room and bathroom ware very clean, nicely updated and decorated, with coffee, tea, cookies and water. We had to climb some stairs (which were a bit noisy). Good hot shower  and very good wi-fi. The owners were not there when we arrived and there was some confusion regarding the reservation, which was solved after 10'.

It was Friday night, so there was some street noise at night (some drunk guy was screaming after 2 am), something that a bedroom not facing the street can minimize.

But the highlight of the stay was a fantastic breakfast. Don't miss it. We also ordered the packed lunch, the one with the local oggie. Again, it was great.

I recently stayed here before a friend's wedding and can't recommend enough. Great location, lovely room with all the amenities you need and the host Steve is so lovely and friendly, really made me feel welcomed. I needed a late check out too and this was sorted without a problem. The breakfast was great too!

Stay here for 2 nighta during the low season to do the coastal hiking and we are  the only one in the house. Location is perfect and it is very cosy and comfortable and host Steve is excellent who personally cook our breakfast every morning and very helpful. 

Property located on High street, but as City is so compact and rural property is quiet central location. Owner was very welcoming, room was large warm and very clean , lovely tray of tea,coffee and water. Bathroom very clean and nice touch of complimentary toiletries. Breakfast really good, choice of cooked items , all freshly prepared fruit cereal yoghurt , toast and spreads. We were made to feel very welcome I would highly recommend this property

Sometimes I hate writing reviews!  I have stayed at many places around the world, some top class, yet TripAdvisor allows a single 1 to 5 rating system for them all!  At the Coach House B&B I have a good sized double room overlooking the street, quiet at night and full of interest by day.  The queen sized bed is comfortable (I had my best sleeps!) the room is nicely decorated, the TV works well, the lighting is good, the furnishings are attractive.  Tea and coffee supplies are replenished daily (with biscuits!) and the free wifi is excellent.  Some extra flat surface would be good - everything needs charging these days! - and a water karaffe (since there is no ensuite).  Breakfast is downstairs with half a dozen guests.  The supplied fruit salad is varied and wonderful, and from a selection I choose the full ‘Welsh’! breakfast which is great.  Owners Steve and Fiona are friendly.   But, the room is accessed by a narrow staircase with insufficient headroom for tall people, and it has no proper ensuite - rather a ‘private’ single user bathroom which is close, but not connected to the room.  The bathroom is very smart, warmed, and with supplies of soaps etc.  The shower is over the bath and easy to operate.  It has adequate flow but may vary in temperature with water use by other guests.  A non-slip mat is provided, but there are no grip rails or soap dish.  I observe too that the room rate is higher than most other places I have stayed, including a very nice hotel in Paddington.  So how to balance these things?  Everything about this B&B is first class apart from the physical constraints; also the personal attention is much appreciated.  But ... you can’t beat having a proper ensuite!

Much like the reviewer below, we arrived after a 6 hour journey to be told by the wood carver next door that the owner had passed away three weeks ago and that it was no longer in operation. Clearly a very challenging time for the family, but guests should have been warned about this. We also paid directly on the Coach House website, so unclear if this will ever be refunded.

Made a booking last month (July 20) for a 3 night stay thru their web site and received an email confirming the booking and that payment for the stay had been received.......up front payment due to late booking. 

Arrived today (Aug 13) after a 5 hour drive to find that the property was shut/closed with the ground floor cleared out and phone line disconnected. 

Advised by local Tourist Information Office that the owner had died 2-3 weeks ago and that the family lived in one of the local villages....web site is still up but the booking portal has now been disconnected. 

Appreciate that death is an exceptional and emotional event however to clear the property of its ground floor contents, disconnect the phone line and take down the booking portal but not advise customers that they were no longer in business is wrong and to not return monies paid (£400+) is most probably a criminal offence.
