Brilliant old Art & Craft style old house with spacious rooms, excellent and friendly hosts, best ever breakfast and ample parking.  We rarely think about booking a B&B twice, but this one is a must-do.  We can highly recommend this hotel for any kind of stay.

We have just returned from a few days stay and if only we lived closer we would return soon. We were made to feel at home from the minute we arrived. Our bedroom was lovely with a woodland motif with a large bathroom and seperate wc, all which were spotless. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. The owner and staff were so lovely and helpfull. 

I stayed here for a couple of nights in August and it was a lovely stay. It's about a 45 minute walk to porthpean beach which I enjoyed walking to, and is right in the centre of st austell. The hotel itself was clean and nicely decorate, and breakfast was fab. I would recommend to anyone. Thanks for a nice stay.

Recently stayed here in the Woodland room. We loved our stay. We enjoyed having a bath. It was spotless. Lovely fluffy towels, piping hot water, great toiletries ,They had  had thought of everything. Tea making facilities in the room were good and included biscuits
Breakfast was one of the best I have had. There was a sun room with and inexpensive honesty bar. Plenty of games and books. There was garden furniture and you were welcomed to use the breakfast room at other times.
There is a small car park with enough spaces.
It is an easy quick walk into St Austell. Several places to eat within walking distance. The brewery is worth a visit and had a nice lunchtime menu.
I really can't fault anything. I wouldn't hesitate to return

An absolutely great place to stay. Clean, comfortable and perfectly place to enjoy St Austell. Facilities in the rooms include all the normal facilities you'd expect and the decoration is beautiful. The breakfast is one of the best I have had. Thank you for a great stay.

The B&B is really good value nice room welcoming staff  great breakfast. Steve was very good nothing to much trouble. Location was good just few minute walk into town for restaurants and pubs. Covid precautions were in place on entering the premises hand sanitisers in public areas. Not far to Eden Project. We found location and parking on the property very easy.  Would stay with Steve again and his staff can't say anything wrong everyone was very helpful.

We arrived early  on  a dismal wet day and were greeted by our very friendly and welcoming host, Steve. All Covid precautions were in place and adhered to.  As a result of Covid there were limited options for eating out in town in the evening so we welcomed  the invitation to use the breakfast room facilities to enjoy a Chinese takeaway meal.  Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding; fresh fruit to start, other options freshly cooked to order, and served with lashings of fresh coffee.  We highly recommend this delightful hotel. 

Had a great couple of nights stay here. Hand sanitizer avaliable upon welcome and everything clean and tidy. Hosts were very welcoming and breakfast fresh every morning had a good variety. Good spot for Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan nearby.

We have just come back from having a great time in Cornwall, and playing a big part of that was staying at this B&B 
The two owners are friendly and very helpful with local information, the breakfast in the morning is all cooked fresh and really sets you for the day.
The room was clean and smart and every day our tea making was topped up, including lovely biscuits, our on suite was clean and tidy with a nice shower.
From this base we ventured out each day and was happy to return to our comfortable base and rest up.
Btw don’t for get to say hi to Ted upstairs lol

Stsyed here for two nights. Lovely b and b, good sized room and nice sun room.
Owners very friendly and offered plenty of suggestions of places to visit. 
Breakfast was wonderful. Freshly made American blueberry pancakes.

Two nights in St Austell

Excellent B&B 

Well located b&b minutes walk from the centre of St Austell.  Off street parking.  Well presented with comfortable rooms featuring tea and coffee making facilities, en suite, wifi and satellite tv.  Excellent breakfasts cooked to order by the very helpful owners.  Great location for touring around the area, Eden project is close by, Castletown, Polpero, Port Isaac, Truro and Bodmin are all close at hand.

Stopped here for our county darts match with Cornwall as it was close to the venue
What can I say we got there quite late on the Friday and was greeted by Steve who was very friendly showed us to our room which was immaculate big double bed and a single 
Shower was that good and powerful I didn’t want to get out 
Breakfast in the morning was amazing eggs were fresh from the chickens in the garden 
Poached eggs were perfectly cooked and the fruit salad was very fresh 
Coffee was fantastic (not out of a jar)
This little jem was that good I’m going to book next year with the wife 
Steve even posted my shoes back to Birmingham when I left them there

Very close to railway station 6-7 minutes walk, close to town centre as well.
Very warm, friendly and helpful owners, very cosy and clean room. We booked garden room which was very spacious and had a great view.
Freshly cooked breakfast, large portions, absolutely delicious.
A great value for money, will definitely come again.

Tregarth House B&B in St. Austell has an ideal location if one wants to efficiently tour Cornwall, England's south-western tip.

Our 3 nights at Tregarth House were just lovely and fine. We did not mind our compact and cosy room, since most of the time we stayed outside the house, travelling and visiting splendid fishing villages (Mevagissey, Portloe, Port Isaac), lonely lighthouses (Trevose Head), looking for low & high tides (St. Ives), or wandering through steep, charming hamlets, paved with cobblestones (Clovelly).

It was always fun to meet Steve or Malcolm every morning, smiling with their good mood, and enjoying their marvelous breakfast, which loaded us with abundant tasty filling (feeling too) and plenty of energy for another beautiful day in Cornwall.

If visiting again the area, we will certainly choose once more Tregarth House as a base for our daily trips. Recommended!
