We visited friends last minute nearby in West Totton and needed to stay over. Better places were either booked, too far or too expensive so took this place. The parking is great at that rear, the receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was very basic and even though the window was open there was an odour. Anyway after a meal out we spent a fairly comfortable night. The ensuite shower was hot and plentiful and the continental breakfast of cereals, fruits, yoghurts, snack bars, croissants and pastries plus 4 brands of bread was fine.

Very sad property I think most of the occupants were there with the council paying.  In desperate need of some investment.

Cheap and clean. Comfortable beds. What more can you ask?

Just got back from staying fri-sun , the room was clean but basic, no kettle in the room but there was a kitchen for all our needs down the hall . Luckily we had a shower in the room so it was fine for our needs , the breakfast is just continental so I guess that was the only downside to it . Ideal for just using it as a place to stay  cheap and cheerful

We were warmly greeted by a very efficient staff member who checked us in quickly and showed us to our room. We enjoyed a good nights sleep, comfy bed, good sized room and a shower en-suite. There is free parking at the rear of the building, free WiFi and it is well placed for both the New Forest and Southampton. The breakfast was well cooked and presented. Good stay.

Good Value

Single room with good en suite. Basic but very clean. Not big room but ok for one. Absence of tea, coffee kettle etc in room big downside. Could make own in kitchen next if brought own including cup. Slept well , room at the rear so no noise from road at front. Car park at rear through archway, felt secure and good size. Breakfast reasonable, not red hot and missing hash browns as advertised but ok otherwise. Dining room v clean and tables laid with care. Overall basic but reasonable priced place for a short stay. 


Overnight stay

very basic but clean place to stay. we had the attic so i was very disappointed there was not a toilet in the room..although its not far to go to use one. the breakfast was ok, but the timings on a monday are very early.
