Took my parents for a pre-Christmas meal and we enjoyed a most delicious three course meal. The food was top notch and there was plenty of it as well.
Our host, an Italian lady, whose name I can’t spell was very nice and worked very hard her party the chef cooked the food to perfection.
Thoroughly recommend Kingdon inn couldn’t fault it.

Found a treasure in Somerton

Wow the breakfasts are absolutely  amazing  with a great choice the best we have had in hotels before. Also went for a birthday dinner with several people for a friend and that was so good too. Yes the room is small but very clean they have a tea, coffee etc in the room with a flask of milk and nice biscuits .


2 night stay.

Booked the Kingsdon Inn for one night to visit the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Booking online easy with immediate confirmation. Inn closed between 3 and 6 so not available to book in.No problem rang the Kingsdon lovely lady said we will put keys in Room 2 door so when we arrived had access to our room . Room was clean and well presented ,TV,Coffee/Tea. two bottles of water.Good wifi on-suite toilet and shower spotlessly clean.Had an excellent meal in the restaurant that evening and amazing breakfast freshly prepared full english ,cereals yogurt toast jam etc.
Cannot fault our stay and more than happy to recommend the Kingsdon Inn.

Excellent place to stay and eat.

Had a superb meal in this delightful pub, full of character set within a pretty village. Though clearly busy and seemingly understaffed the  service was excellent and the food original and far from the usual pub grub, extremely tasty and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend it.

Excellent local pub

We would highly recommend this inn, we stayed overnight on our way from London to Cornwall. We were made very welcome by the hosts and the food was outstanding, tasty oyster mushrooms and triple cooked chips with my succulent steak in the evening and a brilliant cooked breakfast in the morning accompanied with  mini croissants, jam and marmalade. all homemade.The bedroom was tastefully decorated and the bed very comfortable.

Delightful place to stay

We booked a two night stay with, slight apprehension, due to Covid situation.
The rooms were spotlessly clean , and sanitizer gel was readily available . The rooms are nicely decorated , and very comfortable. The village is very quiet and peaceful , so overall we had a very relaxing stay . 
Excellent cooked breakfast , with home made bread and jams . 
All the staff were very professional and friendly , and nothing is too much trouble for them and the perfect host ( Cinzia )  . 
So overall a highly recommended stay,  in this lovely part of the world .

Fantastic little B&B

Visited for luncheon in the garden, during these difficult times , the H & S measures were  without fault - the food, & service were  beyond expectation - delicious - thank you all at Kingston for making a memorable outing from lockdown

Excellent

After staying here several times on holiday in the area, we realised this is a real find. It's consistently excellent - the cooking, the pub, the atmosphere, the staff are all absolutely top-notch. The cooking is perfect, the menu mouth-watering, and the rooms are beautifully clean and comfortable. Perfect place.

Cracking kitchen, chef, food, staff, pub, rooms!

Stayed 3 nights whilst visiting friends and the local area. From the very beginning to the end everything to do with the stay was top notch. The room was exceptionally clean, well laid out and very comfortable. Everything worked and there was lots of hot water. Breakfast was truly fantastic. Very highly recommended - we will be back!

Excellent 3 night stay - everything was first rate

This is a very well run Inn.  The food and service are excellent and our room was spotless.  A minor difficulty arose because of noise (music) from the kitchen immediately below our room but that was swiftly corrected.
