Woken at midnight to dripping from the fire alarm sensor, reception informed and told we had to leave the hotel at 1am on one of the coldest nights of the year so far (-4).  This meant we then had to get up even earlier than if we’d stayed, meaning lack of sleep and less refreshed for the following day.

Do yourself a favour, skip this premier, by far the worse one I’ve stayed in.

The room had been set up for a single occupancy even though I had booked for myself and my son. 

The main room was spotlessly clean but the bathroom smelled of urine although appeared clean.

On returning from our evening basketball event we found a strong smell of Cannabis on the second floor and a gang of teenagers with hockey sticks hanging around near the stair well. 

For the next two to three hours there was people running up and down the corridors, doors slamming and people slamming

Very very poor standard of of accommodation were my eight year old did not feel safe

The hotel is very poor : parking is a difficult between poorly parked vans, room smell like a brewery and restaurant was like construction site full of labourers in dirty overalls, food was blunt and not tasty.

Very comfortable rooms and beds we stayed here after watching a show and reception were very welcoming, courteous and friendly.. very very very clean rooms and shower facilities.  Menu choice on the day was very good as well and food presented well

Spent Christmas Eve at the Premier Inn for three nights.  My family, who are located just a short distance from the hotel. I was somewhat nervous. Despite the fact that this was a budget hotel, I enjoyed my stay. The key card was required to enter on the lift, but otherwise, check-in was really simple. It's really well secured. I particularly felt extremely safe staying with my adolescent child. There was a guest bed in addition to the room's gorgeous large double bed. The beds are quite cosy. They are, in my opinion, the ideal. Bathroom is little and comfortable. The ultimate basic novel, something between light and cosy.  Freeview is available on the TV. In the future, I would advise them to upgrade this to a smart TV for their visitors. However, I would recommend staying here again. 

Perfect bed

Excellent location, the room was lovely and clean and we had a lovely nights sleep too. There wasn’t a lot of noise at all! It was a perfect setting too as we had gone to the Lewis Capaldi concert so it wasn’t even a far walk to the arena either, I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be returning for JLS hopefully!

Wrong room wrong room again and breakfast shut in 40 minutes early. 

Yikes , staff hasn't a clue sometimes what was going on , Was given my initial room key there was peoples items in the room I then went back to the reception to say that he gave me the wrong room actually was my room however they give in my room away to another customer , other people in the hotel also were given wrong rooms and even people who were part of parties were given the wrong room with names on there system of people who weren’t even taking part in the university competition that was taking part that weekend. 

Also was told that the breakfast had been shot for over 10 minutes at around 1030 just meaning that they shut the restaurant at 10:20 or 40 minutes before the breakfast is supposed to be finished not a great service and a lot of the staff seemed unbothered or uneducated on customer service and hard very blank and vacant one word answers and huffs

Air in the room overly perfumed by bathroom scent then middle of the night heating dried the air, but window opened fully thankfully. WiFi confusing and couldn't share despite paying the extra. Breakfast was lovely, staff are abit lapse with their conversation one remarked Peter kay is (swear word) which is unnecessary 

Made me poorly

I stayed for 4 nights for work. The room was very clean on arrival, the bed was very comfortable, I have no noise complaints. I ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and I really enjoyed the food- lots of options and tastes good! The staff are so so friendly and helpful. Ubers were readily available in the location. I’ve not been in another premier inn, but if I return to Sheffield this is this one I will stay in again! No complaints- everything was made so easy so I could focus on working in the evenings. 

Fantastic Stay

We were going to both Sheffield Arena and IceSheffield for ice hockey games, and the location couldn't have been more perfect for both. I can't walk far, so this was ideal! Comfortable, clean, decent sized room, with free parking (including disabled), ideal for the price. Free WiFi seemed to be good quality.
