Dalgarven House Hotel

We picked Dalgarven House for my friends hen party for 22 people and I can honestly say the pics online don’t do this place justice!! The most perfect venue for a large group of people. The venue is absolutely incredible, it’s so much bigger than you’d think & you have exclusive use of everything. There are two bars which was perfect for the cocktail class we planned and a massive function hall that can host pretty much anything, we hired a bucking bronco and a DJ and this room was perfect for a party! You also have a massive outdoor hot tub over looking the river v peaceful, saunas, steam rooms & the most stunning conservatory. Not to mention the ‘getting ready’ room which was my fave, LED mirrors (the best lighting to do your makeup) & it even comes with hairdryer & straighteners!! Included in the stay was dinner on the first night & also an amazing afternoon tea the next day with sooo many cake options this was a really nice touch having this all prepped for you! Angela is amazing, she made sure all the rooms were set up in advance (including making up the sofa beds) and was only a text away if we had any questions. The communication from Alan on the lead up to the hen was great making the planning a bit less stressful, the staff couldn’t do enough for you! You had the option to add extras when booking so we hired robes and slippers for everyone which was great when using the hot tub and also the Prosecco cart which came with a few bottles! We also opted for the early check in add on meaning we got into the venue at 12 instead of 4 giving us more time to decorate - this was soooo worth the money we needed those extra 4 hours!! We got so many compliments from everyone regarding the choice of venue, everyone had the best weekend ever, it was so much fun & I can’t recommend Dalgarven House enough - if you are thinking of booking this place, book it!! You won’t be disappointed!
