Fabulous guest house. Beautifully presented and great attention to detail from the toiletries in the bathroom, including make-up remover! to proper milk in the mini fridge. Not little cartons of UHT rubbish!
Breakfast was delicious, a big variety of choices from cereal to cooked breakfasts. 
Karen and Mark are perfect hosts, and I  would definitely recommend this guesthouse and will return if I'm ever in Scarborough.

First time I've stayed at Hermosa but will definitely book again if available. 
Welcomed as soon as I stepped through door and shown up to my room. Booked a single but provided with a double which was unexpected but welcomed.
Little things make a big difference and the fresh milk (not that sachet stuff) and a bottle of water in the fridge just added to the quality of the stay.
Bed was very, very comfy.
Again, the small touches, the extras in the bathroom in terms of bodywash etc. exceeded my expectations.
Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely. The filter coffee was possibly the best I've ever had in a UK b&b/hotel (and I've had a lot).

Had a wonderful stay at the Hermosa despite the weather! . The room was pleasant, clean with plenty of nice touches. Ie fridges/milk chocolates etc. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The hosts were very friendly and inviting. Will definitely plan a second visit and would highly recommend. *****

Absolutely fantastic place to stay lovely room number 1 twin as I went with my son great to have fridge & little touches like water bottle fresh milk hot chocolate biscuits. Karen & Mark are truly lovely hosts nothing is too much trouble breakfast was first class so much choice expertly cooked would go back in a heartbeat.

My 2nd visit and was excellent yet again. I had room 6 this time, again at the top of the house with an extremely comfy bed and en-suite shower room with lovely big shower (pressure not 100% but adequate). Very prettily decorated and exceptionally clean. I love the artwork around the property that has some local scenes. Breakfast top notch and was lovely to see Karen and Mark again. 

Great location, needed a late check In, no trouble at all. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. The room was very clean and well presented. Great breakfast in the morning with plenty of choice. If where to visit Scarborough again then this would be our first port of call. Thanks for your hospitality.

What a gem definitely the best B & B we have ever stayed in. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed and lovely pillows. Tea coffee and hot chocolate in your room along with biscuits. The full english breakfast was superb. The hosts very friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them. I would highly recommend this and will certainly contact them again if we are going to stay in the area again. 

Wonderful bnb Mark and Karen super hosts. Nothing was to much trouble. Chatty and friendly.  Our room, room 3 was great super comfortable bed big room lots of space to walk around two chairs to sit and relax on. A little fridge to keep milk and juice cold. Fresh milk not those funny pots of milk. No humming from fridge which I've had in other places. Room was clean tidy and comfortable. Fabulous shower all the little things needed to make it a great two nights stay. Breakfast was brilliant lots of choice and well cooked. Definitely a place I'm happy to recommend to others who want a lovely stay in Scarborough. 

This was our 4th visit to Hermosa and it was a wonderful stay as usual.  Very nice rooms and very clean.  The breakfast was quality plenty of choice to fit everyone and cooked to perfection. Lovely people who make you feel welcome and leave you to enjoy your stay.  We will be visiting again.   

When we first arrived, Carole was very welcoming and told us everything we needed to know about our stay, explained the policy and rules of our stay, Carole allowed us to check in early which was very kind of her, when we got to the room we opened the door and we were surprised by our room, it was the perfect size for us, even though we were at a concert the first night, the doors were really secure and security was top notch, cameras covering the necessary areas to keep there guests safe throughout there stay, the bed was really comfy and it was the best night's sleep we have had for a long time.

The breakfast in the morning was incredible, Gary was very chatty which made the morning and the stay even more great. Carole and Gary cooked the breakfast to the perfect way, Gary was also singing along with the radio which made the morning entertaining also, Carole and Gary were very knowledgeable of the area, and helpful with helping me and Emma decide what we were going to do in the daytime. The location of Hermosa was perfect, it was close to Peasholm Park, close to beach, close to a shop, walking distance to SeaLIFE Centre Scarborough, also the Hermosa had benches in front of the building which created a small front garden where me and Emma sat eating our Dominoes Pizza, the area was also peaceful.

 Gary gave us some more Tea Bags, Milk and Sugar to take to our room when we requested it. Gary pointed out that Scarborough used to have a Jail which is now a Council Building but it was really good to see. We learned things about Scarborough that we didn't know. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this guest house to anybody, and would be back again. Thankyou Gary and Carole for making us feel really welcome and feel safe and thankyou for our room we enjoyed it and loved the way it was decorated to.

Hermosa Guest House 

Having just spent Bank Holiday weekend here .. What can I say , best guesthouse ever , breakfast was just perfect,  choice of cereal , full cooked breakfast which was so fresh , hot and tasty, as much coffee, orange juice and toast as you wanted . The bed was super comfy and the hosts Gary and Carol was absolutely lovely , very welcoming and made us feel completely at home. All I will say if ever you fancy a stay in Scarborough this little guesthouse is an absolute must . Thank you so much Gary and Carol we had a lovely weekend 😊
