We stayed here for one night at the end of our trek on the North Downs Way booked through Contours.
We had a very warm welcome from our hosts, twice in fact. The first time was when we dropped off our car before travelling to the start of our trek. Our hosts, very helpfully, allowed us to leave the car outside the property, and even gave us tea on the terrace while we waited for our taxi. That is going above and beyond in our book. 
When we stayed a week later, we had a lovely room, beautifully decorated and with an amazing view over the Medway.
Breakfast was a real treat and we hope that when we return to resume our trek, Contours put us here again!



Excellent B&B, Couldn't be Better

We arrived an hour early by accident but were welcomed inside and taken to our lovely clean , modern room . Tea and coffee facilities and fresh milk in a nice flask ... Comfortable bed , lovely host's , who couldn't do enough for us. Fantastic freshly cooked cheese omelette for myself in the morning after a great night's sleep . Lots of choices for breakfast , full English , cereals , fruit , yoghurt etc. The road is fairly quiet , which was great . 20 minutes walk into town centre along a straight road . Lots of places to eat and drink in nice surroundings . Definitely would recommend & love to stay in the future . Many thanks 😊👍

Hidden Gem

We stopped here overnight, the location is easy to find with plenty off on street parking.
We got there a bit early but it wasn't an issue, the room was spotless and the host very friendly.
The town is a an easy 15 min walk away with plenty of independent shops and pubs.
Breakfast was great and everything was freshly cooked.
The hosts are friendly and nothing is too much effort, with the location being close to the town we will definitely be coming back in the future.


Great setting and hosts

We stayed here for one night and we so happy with our stay! The owners were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. The room (and the house) was beautiful and clean the views are to die for as was the cooked breakfast. There were also continental choices in a fry up isnt for you.
It’s 5 minutes drive from the town which is a beautiful old street packed with cafes and shops. 
Would definitely recommend staying here and we will be coming back!

Fantastic Stay!

Hostesses were very friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Our room overlooked the river which was lovely.10-15 minute walk into town. Parking on roadside which was fine no problem as no restrictions. Would highly recommend it.

Brilliant 

We have a lovely stay in February. Wonderful hosts. Good vegetarian breakfasts. Clean and comfortable room with broad view of the Medway. The B&B is a mile from the castle and cathedral, but the walk was in is very interesting, especially after reaching St Margarets Road.

A lovely B&B

Great stay, everything you need for an overnight stay in Rochester. A 15 minute walk to the centre and the Castle and Cathedral. Roadside parking outside. Room comfortable with a view of the Medway River. Hosts were excellent and provided a lovely breakfast.

Lovely B&B. Bed really comfortable and so quiet. Nice view of the river. Bath towels are bit old and faded but everything very clean. Lovely hosts. Good breakfast. A short drive into the city centre. Good value 

Good location for Rochester 

Stayed for  2 nights, lovely house, and lovely owners, breakfast was very good room was clean ,with plenty of tea and coffee  also bottles of water, would definitely recommend, have to pay cash no card machine, not a problem

Lovely  b and b

We booked last minute and had a lovely one night stay. Spotlessly clean, with plenty of hand sanitiser and safe covid guidance. very friendly and welcoming owners. Excellent breakfast, would recommend.
