Stayed for 1 night as we travelled down for a gig and needed somewhere cheap and convenient. Clean room and comfy bed. Good price for what was needed! Chap on front desk was friendly, helpful and cracked a few jokes

Lovely little room. Needed a quick budget hotel. Clean and did the job. Staff were friendly. Nothing you can ask for extra. Had to leave early for personal reasons. Will come back as have friends in Margate and ramsgate.

Hotel is well situated and not far to walk to Margate directly.

Stayed here for an event in dreamland. About 20 minute walk to the town along the beach. Staff were really friendly, room was clean and it was very good value, which is all we wanted. Parking on the surrounding streets was plenty and free. Little tired but didn't bother us at all. Would return here on our next outing to margate 

Had a very enjoyable stay.  My priority is cleanliness and the room was absolutely spotless. The ensuite in particular was absolutely gleaming.

Located in a quiet street , there are several nice cafes at either of the street for breakfast or lunch.

Margate central  is about a 20 minute walk.If you don't fancy the walk you can catch a bus at the top of the street. Which run about every 7 minutes.
This includes "The Loop" bus which is really handy for visiting Ramsgate and Broadstairs.

All the staff are really friendly and helpful. We choose not to have our room cleaned every day , but we could have done, and the staff happily kept us topped up with coffee sachets etc.

Reception is manned 24 hours  and again everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Would definitely stay again

I booked a single room for a three night stay.
On arrival David was very friendly and showed me to my room.  He brought up a panel heater as he said that the heating could be temperamental (I didn't need it - the heating was fin).
The room was small, but very clean and everything you needed was there.
I will definitely be back if I'm in Margate again.

We had a pleasant stay at Glenwood Hotel. Rooms were large and clean. Receptionists are very friendly and helpful and location is not very far from the rail station. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who are visiting Margate.

1st time here but won't be the last lovely little hotel in a quiet side street about a 20min pleasant walk into town we were greeted by the lovely owner who once we booked in done our test & trace & puts the world to rights he showed us to our room on ground floor was simply decorated but beautiful & spotlessly clean comfy beds very large enauite shower/toilet room bright & airy although veiw from window wasn't much it had been arranged so you needed to specifically get  up & look out of it. Hospitality tray provided with tea, coffee, milk & paper cups in keeping with covid regs as was the rest of the hotel unfortunately no breakfast on offer due to restrictions nor was the lovely bar lounge but as soon as it is possible for the place to be fully functional again we will visit again  My only bugbear was no on site parking but parking is free in the roads roundabout or you could catch train & get a taxi to hotel.

First time staying here and we would stay again. Check in and out were great. 
We love this area of margate so close to everything we need
Shame breakfast and bar are still closed due to COVID
We had a family room and my little boy lives his separate room with bunk beds

Lovely Experience, utterly enchanting. 
Would recommend this experience to anyone who may be looking for a romantic getaway or maybe a cheap honeymoon. 
The host was lovely and breakfast was fresh and extremely tasty.  
Will most definitely be visiting again.

Very comfortable home away from home. Lovely family run business. We were visiting family before Christmas. Was a lovely break. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was very warm and cosy. Very well located for our needs.

Hotel room was very clean as was the shower room! shower could have done with a bit more power!

2 single beds were a little narrow but then Im a big guy!

Reception was quick and efficient and extra towels were no problem

Place was quiet - front entrance seemed to shut BEFORE 10 at night but then side door was open!

Good value for money - bit of a walk back from Town (uphill) or £3.50 in taxi!!

Bit far out of Town!

As a family of 4 I was a little concerned with the negative comments on here. 
On arrival the receptionist was friendly and gave us our key straight away. Room was exceptionally clean as was the ensuite and could find no fault at all. Bed was comfortable. Lounge area was clean. Bar wasn't open due to covid.
If you are a family looking for a cheap break I would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely mini break

Went here on a coach holiday, we stayed here for 4 nights, had a very nice room, the food was very good, and the staff was also very good, as a diabetic some foods I cannot eat, but there was always something on menu that I could eat, and if the sweet was not suitable they gave me cheese and biscuits. they put on entrainment and he was very good, who  also done us games of bingo, Newspaper was on the table free of charge to read, A really lovely holiday, Thankyou

We were met by a very friendly guy on reception, shown upstairs to our large clean room, which was a bit dated but served our purposes very well.  We were able to walk into central Margate and back easily from the hotel.
