We stayed here for three nights and the accomdation was superb. The Lethean apartment was right next too Loch Fada. Warm and comfortable with a great kitchen and bathroom. Very clean and new. Great location being close to the old man of storr and Portree. 

Everything you could ask for and then a little more. A gem of an apartment set in a wonderful place. And the most comfortable bed in the world. It was a wet n blustery couple of days but we were very happy in our warm and luxurious surroundings.

My husband and I spent two nights here as part of our honeymoon - and it was just perfect. It’s managed very well with all our needs taken care of and a feeling that the owners really care about the place, an absolutely beautiful and extremely comfortable apartment with ANYTHING you might need (including a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer), and a perfect and beautiful location. Stay here, you won’t regret it!!

We stayed at storr apartments for 3 nights at the end of July 2019. 
Didn’t spend a lot of time at the apartment it self as we had so much to see and do around the area. Storr apartments are so well located we managed to do all that we had to in our 3 nights stay. The apartment was very clean, very comfortable and very convenient. We will definitely recommend this place to others and would love  to return one day.

This beautiful apartment far exceeded my expectations. Happy the moment I walked through the door. 
The bathroom in particular is excellent, and the kitchen just what was needed. 
Clean, comfortable and I would happily stay again. 
Has quite a romantic feel, even though it's right on the road. 

We LOVED our stay in the Leathan apartment! Located just 10 minutes out of Portree there are magnicent views of the Old Man of Storr from the apartments picnic area.
The apartments itself has everything you could wish for and more! On opening the door you are met with a welcome basic full of goodies and information on the apartment itself. We really liked the decor of the apartment and I have to disagree with review below, photos from tripadvisor and the Storr Apartments website give a brilliant indication of what to expect and in reality the apartment does not disappoint, the laundry facilities in the apartment are a god-send for anybody after a day on the hills!

We will most definitely be back!.....We didn’t want to leave!!

We spent three days at Loch Fada. There are two apartments and we had the top
floor Fada.  Cosy yet enough space for the two of us - nice decor and lovely roll top bath. Lovely welcome pack including milk and chocolates!! Don’t expect Netflix though there is Sky tv. No phone signal (bonus!) although there is WiFi. Fiona (manager) was available via phone/text. We ate in and the kitchen was well equipped. Beautiful views of Loch Fada from the bed and out of the lounge The Old Man of Storr.  We were sorry to have to leave it was so cosy and stunning views. If we ever trek back to the Isle of Skye we would definitely stay here again.

Fara Appartment

We stayed in the bottom flat of the Storr apartments and were quite disappointed. It was by no means bad, but there were quite a few things which you do not expect from accommodation of this price. I'll start off with the good things. It's in a great location, not too far from Portree. There is a great view of the Old Man of Storr from the decking area. There is sufficient off-road parking. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the remote-control lighting, it was very useful. Unfortunately there were quite a few things we weren't totally happy with. The decor, a post-industrial theme wasn't quite to our taste and it often felt like style over substance. Some examples are as follows. The colour on most walls was dark green, this just absorbs so much light and makes the place feel dark and dreary (not great on a place with Skye's weather). There was an old chest which is used as a coffee table, but it is impractical because it isn't flat and has metal supports on the top of it which you cannot balance things on safety. There is no  full-length mirror, there is a head-height horizontal mirror with a window frame on it, which means you're forced to use 8 small mirrors. Alternatively there is a concave circular mirror. Neither are overly practical. Light switches were in odd places. There was an absence of plug sockets in useful places. The shower curtain parted near the shower head, so often water got on the floor. The decking area was in desperate need of some paint. Next time you redecorate, put more thought in to practicality rather than appearance. Overall I think it was not a bad place to stay, but definitely not worth the price we paid. We have stayed in nicer places at less than half the price (although we do understand that the Skye peak-time premium will have contributed to the price). I would not stay here again.
