We visited Porthcawl for the Snoopy trail and had a great time. The place was very clean and tidy, our room was lovely. Bed very comfortable, room had lots of space, shower was nice and had everything we needed. Our room didn't have any toilet roll but text the number and it was sorted within 5 minutes. We would happily stay here  again and would love to visit Porthcawl again. 

Had a lovely stay here , spotlessly clean and the comfiest bed ever! We come to Porthcawl 2 to 3 times a year mostly to see the shows at the pavillion and always book here if available. Highly recommended.

We stayed for a night in the king deluxe studio on the ground floor.It was a beautifully decorated and furnished,and well stocked with tea coffee biscuits milk and some lollipops,my grandson loved sitting on the barstools on the bar and shouting get out of my pub! Lovely white towels were supplied along with soap and showergel.There was also a toaster and microwave in the studio room and some books and puzzles,the tv had netflix and you tube and free wi-fi included,so all the necessities were there for your own use,we could not fault this room at all,my daughter decided to stay another night in a different room and text the concierge number and asked if they would store her belongings for a few hours until she checked back in,that was no trouble and the staff even text her back to say her room was ready earlier for her and her belongings had been taken back to her room,her balcony room was just as nice btw,the only niggle we had was noisy guests above us from 1am to 4am who were making a tremendous amount of  noise above us and even woke my grandson up and he will sleep through anything.We would definitely recommend a stay here and will book again in the future as the seafront is at the bottom of the street porthcawl town is a short cut through the car park across the road where you can eat out cheaply.most of the convenience stores are open until 10 should you need anything.we also had lovely fish and chips from the boathouse on the seafront.The rooms are well serviced and furnished.

We stayed at 19 Mary street last night and the family room was excellent. Very clean and extremely well decorated . 

The host was very helpful and I can’t recommend this place enough!

Definitely stay here again!

The contactless check in was seamless and without issue. Managing to park for free directly outside aided this! The room decor is clean and modern. Certainly above what I’d expect for the rate. The small balcony with a sea view was an added bonus. The only slight negative is the water pressure, some sort of booster tank needs to be installed.

Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful accommodation, perfectly located. Easy check in and check out. Rooms are gorgeous and super comfy beds. The host was accommodating and very welcoming. I will definitely be staying here again sometime soon

The check in system and key collection is a great idea. 
Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean and the mattresses were amazing! Had such a great nights sleep. 
Location is brilliant too and we were lucky enough to nab some parking right outside. 


Our stay at 19 Mary Street was absolutely fabulous. The room decor was gorgeous, it was clean and modern whilst still having lots of character. We spent our time in Porthcawl surfing and felt very grateful for a huge hot shower and extremely comfortable bed at the end of the day. The room was well stocked with everything we needed, and the self check in made it super easy. Already looking forward to coming back again. Thank you Alice for a wonderful stay!

Stayed for one night, asked for two rooms next door to each other, very accommodating. Lovely decor, comfy beds and excellent location would definitely stay here again and recommend to others who want to stay in porthcawl

Came here for the night in December 2019 the room was perfect , clean nice size and everything we needed, very modern decor and had a very peaceful nights sleep , we visited the dockside restaurant which was amazing! Defo will be coming back to stay here!

Exceeded Expectation

We enjoyed our stay its close by to all amenities  .the room was nice and clean only drawbacks were the street noise when its kicking out time from the pub and then when the guests arrive back at yr bnb. The noise levels from.the street with a few cars racing up and down the street god only knows what time. The rooms are cleaned everyday throughout our stay but they failed to empty the bin in the bathroom over a 3 day period. I dont think we would stay again but nice place with lovely decor.

Amazing!

Had a fantastic stay at 19 Mary Street, the location was superb we got to visit Sandy Beach, which was nice. We were greeted with sweets on our arrival and this was a lovely personal touch by Alice. Facilities were good, lovely tea and coffee tray and a nice and powerful shower. The bed was super comfortable and we can lovely nights sleep. Only negative was the walls were quite thin and we could hear noise coming from the hallway and the wall next to us. The neighbours on the first night were quite loud but because it was a one off we didn’t mind. In the hallway by our door we could smell cigarette smoke on two occasions, which wasn’t ideal. Other than that we had a lovely stay and would defo recommend to stay at 19 Mary Street and we would return again.

It was a little strange to book into a guest house with no physical presence to welcome you. We had a minor problem on arriving but a quick call to the supplier number resolved it, so the system worked. 
A few nice touches like sweets in the room.
Room was comfortable and more than adequate, with parking across the road.

Warm and comfortable

Stayed here for 3 nts & were not disappointed - what a great place to stay & would highly recommend - check-in / out was very efficient & we were pleasantly surprised by the high standard - the room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable & the modern decoration added to the overall experience (the neighbours had nothing but praise for the high standard of this accommodation). The room book contains all the local info you need - location is less than a minute from the bay - thank you to the owners for making our stay so memorable for all the right reasons - we look forward to returning soon

This accommodation is absolutely perfect for a little haven away from the world. The beds are sumptuous and soft - which is exactly what you need after a day surfing on rest bay beach!
This little town is peaceful and beautiful with just the right amount of life to make a quick weekend break feel special.
I would reccomend the go ape in margam also if you are looking for an active break.
When visiting porthcawl 19 Mary street is the place to stay- its is clean, well presented, spacious and calming.

Fantastic haven for a relaxing break

Booked here as I needed a room for 1 night, whilst on business training in the area.
I was so pleased with the modern decor, looks fantastic and the simplicity of check in and out was so easy & handy. 
Had everything I needed, plenty of milk for my tea, bed was sooo comfy, had a really good night sleep, was nice and quiet.
Had a very helpful info book in room about the local area, restaurants, things to do ect, was a really nice touch. 
Will definitely stay again next time I'm in the area.
