Stayed here in December 2019. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The room was clean and tidy. A lot of free parking is available.
Time and Place is the restaurant that is adjacent to the hotel. The food is fine. Look forward to m#our next visit.

Good budget hotel

Stayed here with partner and friend for 5 days. What a lovely homely welcome by this lady. Had a wonderful 5 days breakfast were fantastic great start to every morning for our days our sight seeing. And the lady was very helpful an kind when we brought stuff in for tea.

Little break

Lovely guest house, Margaret is a perfect host, who cooks a gorgeous breakfast and 5 minutes drive from the harbour.... what more could you ask for?

We stayed in May and arrived late and left early as we were traveling for a uni visit. Margaret met us at the door at 11pm and  welcomed us,the triple room was immaculate with tea, coffee, water all available. The bed was so comfortable and we were gutted that we had an early start. Breakfast was one of the best I have had. Yes it has a shared bathroom, but you know this from the outset and it was very clean and just across the hallway, so we had no issues with that.

We stayed again on the return trip back to Jersey a few days later and again it was lovely. We had to leased at 6:15am to get the early breakfast and Margret left us out a continental breakfast. 

We are back in September and will be booking with Margaret again, and I am really looking forward to my cooked breakfast, 

Lovely night sleep, just perfect!

I stayed here one night so that I could be in the area, ready to catch the ferry to Guernsey early the next morning. 
The location is OK, it took me about half an hour to walk from the ferry terminal, which I went to first after finding out where it was. If you've got a car, it's no problem. 
The landlady was very friendly and welcoming, so no problems there. The room was fine, very clean, but no washbasin in the room. The bathroom is just opposite though.
I seemed to be the only guest. Lovely hot shower although I tried not to use as little hot water as possible for ecological reasons. 
Unfortunately I did not sleep a wink, but I stress, this was not the fault of the B & B. I have a problem when I sleep in a new bed, and this bed was almost too comfortable (not like my bed at home, propped up with a plastic crate in the middle). 
Next morning, the breakfast room was a little chilly, and there was nothing ready, but the landlady put in an appearance shortly afterwards and kindly made me some cheese on toast (I am veggie) and some tea etc. which was fine. I caught my ferry in plenty of time. 
There is nothing wrong with this B & B, but at £39 for one night I suppose a washbasin in the room would be reasonable, but it was still OK. In my opinion it is a reasonable Bed & Breakfast.

Reasonable B & B

Stayed here one night for an early morning Poole sailing. Very close - in fact 5 mins by car to ferry!! PLUS, the B&B is on the road to the ferry so no bridge crossing.
Clean and comfortable room.Tea tray well stocked. Owner was very pleasant and made our breakfast for 7am. The only slight negative is a shared bathroom, but it was very close by and because there was only one other guest there wasn't a problem. We would stay here again if travelling to/from the ferry.

Excellent location for ferry

We were looking for one night for a Birthday party in Poole... so wanted value for money... and we definitely got that! Margaret is such a lovely host and nothing was too much trouble! She even booked taxis for us! Clean and inviting place, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Lots of nice touches throughout...and the breakfast was tasty and filling ... just what we needed for the journey home! 

Superb B&B

Traditional bed and breakfast is a family home with 2 rooms for guests. Very cozy, although not very spacious. Good full English breakfast, there is a parking lot (but it's not easy to get out of it, it's a big slope), free Wi-Fi.
