Stayed for 3 nights at around £100, well worth the money. The street my room overlooked could be quite noisy but that’s what you get in the town centre. Staff looked after me very well. Would recommend.

The owner of this establishment couldn't do enough for the five of us that stayed, put himself out especially to accommodate the parking facility at a very busy time.
As regards to the hotel itself,  very clean and comfortable. 
Breakfast was made and served with care which matched the quality of the food.

Such a fantastic find!  Two minutes walk from the seafront, absolutely spotless inside. En-suite shower, tea and coffee in room, breakfast cooked to order.  When we arrived we were given a parking space (which had been saved by the owner)  which was really appreciated as we visited Easter weekend so busy. Will definitely visit Cromwell house again. As I said a fantastic find.

A warm welcome from the owner who kindly took my bags to my room. Had booked a single room but was given the twin room which was Brill. Having the 2 dogs with me , it gave me that bit more space. 
Rooms was light and airy , very clean.all facilities I needed. To make it better my dogs came for free , so super chuffed.  Breakfast is included in the price which was full English and cereals ,yoghurt, fresh orange juice tea or coffee. This was included in the price of the room which was  fantastic rate.
Would recommend  to anyone wishing to visit Eastbourne.

Just had a few days in eastbourne to recharge my batteries was useful as close to the seafront

Felt very welcome in this comfortable b&b. Nice room with comfortable bed and free wifi.  Located approx 12 minutes walk from the station and 2 minute walk to the beach - very close to the pier.  Excellent breakfast.  Highly recommended.

Stayed for 3 nights and was very pleased. Great place and location. Great breakfast. Very helpful friendly staff. Highly recommend 10/10 will definitely stay again if in the area. Close to all amenities.

Stayed here for 2 night break, very clean and tidy house, very welcoming.
Bed was comfortable, and room clean and tidy.
Breakfast had 3 options, we took English and were pleased with it. 
well cooked, lovely poached egg, and mushrooms were delicious.
Highly recommend a stay.
Only a short walk to the front by the pier.

For the price  was very good  just a few negatives1) I asked if i could leave my luggage  before booking in time  and was told yes  and given code to enter.....but no one came  so  for security reasons i could not  really  leave  it.2) No  word done on room between my 3 nights stay3)  long life milk  was curdled ?  down to very hot weather?)

Ideally situated on Cavendish Place, and literally a 2-3 mins walk down to Eastbourne's Pier. Clean room & bathroom, offering a comfortable, single bed, tv, chest of drawers, wardrobe, tea/coffee making facilities, sufficient toiletries, hair dryer on request. Friendly proprietor. Quite safe & secure, all in all.

We had planned to stay in a hotel that we found out last minute had closed down.  This bnb could take all 4 of us.  It is quaint in the old multi level building.  The host is polite and helpful and very kindly bought gluten free bread and sausages for my hubby for breakfast as he's coeliac.  The large bed was 2 singles pushed together but comfy enough.  Could do with better pillows.  The noise from seagulls is crazy but can't close the window due to it being stuffy so maybe a fan in rooms would help.  We didn't use the WiFi but my sis said the connection wasn't good.  Breakfast was decent though served with what I think were tinned mushrooms. Shower was very weak.  Great location near everything

Decent accommodation 

I booked this on the strength of the trip advisor reviews and they were correct. It's an old school type of hotel in a narrow terrace, with a sitting room on the first floor, dining room downstairs and rooms upstairs. I had a room out the front which had some traffic noise but nothing too bothersome. The room itself had been done up fairly recently in a slightly budget but clean way, with a few nice touches and a few slightly worn parts too. It's still got a touch of an old school seaside hotel with narrow corridors, clunky doors, a touch of woodchip wallpaper and fire alarm sensors in the ceiling. The overall impression was a good one and for the price of £30 including breakfast it was super value. The host was very friendly and helpful and was fine with me leaving a wet fold up bike in the front room.

The reviews are right, great place to stay for the price

We stayed here for 3 nights with 9 of us in 7 rooms.  First of all the welcome and service received from Kurt was fantastic. I am disabled and he went out of his way to help with my bags and getting us parking. The cooked breakfast was just the right amount and again Kurt was happy to oblige any requests. 
The hotels location is ideal and only a minute from the pier. 
Rooms were clean and well furnished. Nice touches of complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee etc. The shower in my room was quite small so the larger person may have issues getting in it! Shower pressure on the higher floors was poor but to be expected. WiFi is provided and was ok for me. 
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cromwell House to anyone and would happily return.

Weekend Break, lovely Victorian house, comfortable and great breakfast.

I had a lovely time staying at Cromwell house during November this year. I felt very welcome with a fantastic fresh daily breakfast with coffee and juices. Bed was very comfortable and the room very clean with tv and hot shower room . WiFi very reliable and the nightly rates very affordable . Thanks chaps see you soon . Regards Mark
