Crossways Hotel

We stayed in this pretty cottage at the end of July. It was our second visit and once again we really enjoyed our stay. The cotttage is very spacious with a pretty living room, large kitchen with dining area and two well appointed bedrooms, each with their own stunning bathrooms as well as a small study and laundry room. There is a charming and secluded garden at the rear. The adjacent tea room had a wonderful range of cakes and it was also possible to dine in the main hotel which serves lavish five course meals. The location is excellent as it's near the coast and surrounded by beautiful countryside whilst being within easy reach of Eastbourne, Lewes and Brighton. It's also close to Glyndebourne which was one of the main reasons for our visit. Charleston and Rodmel (haunts of the Bloomsbury set), are both nearby. There are good pubs within walking distance.
