Am not one for leaving reviews but I had to for this place .booked in for one night it was the best ever .it's a must for anybody to book into .clean room and bathroom.plenty of tea and coffee.5 star.staff or helpful.good cafe near by for a good breakfast

I visited the bar area with a few friends on a brief holiday in Northern Ireland and called in randomly. 
This place scores 100% for the staff. 
It’s an ordinary enough local pub for its decor and there was a large group of local lads enjoying themselves. The welcome we received was outstanding. The lads who were sitting at the best table left for the bar so we could sit there. They clearly understood that strangers are “guests”
I bought a couple of rounds at the bar and when I came back to the table there were 4 plates of perfect sausage and chips, complimentary!! 
The barman was super friendly and he serves beautiful Guinness. 
I ordered another round and gave him a small tip. 
10 minutes later a round of complimentary drinks!! 
When I go back to Northern Ireland I will definitely revisit. Highly recommended if you want an afternoon of genuine hospitality in a real Irish pub.

We got a really good deal on hotels.com so to be honest we weren't expecting the Ritz but the stay far exceeded our expectations and had us feeling elated we made the right choice. The room itself was clean tidy and spacious and the wifi first class we slept really well on both days and had us feeling refreshed and raring to go for the day ahead but the biggest selling point of this hotel undoubtedly is the staff friendly, happy, attentive couldn't do enough for us and nothing was a trouble the breakfast was lovely nicely cooked came out hot and very tasty the lady serving was great happy, friendly and attentive we just felt right at home. We visited the pub both nights and loved it it had such a happy vibe and atmosphere and the staff even bought us all a round of drinks hospitality was out of this world and we'd like to say a big thank you to everyone. For anyone thinking of booking up do it you certainly won't be disappointed we weren't.:)

Stayed here for 1 night with friends and couldn't fault the place! The service is fantastic, the workers would go above and beyond for any of your needs. The bar lounge was great craic and the locals to match. 
Owner is a lovely gentle man and the lady who served our breakfast couldn't have been nicer. Such a pleasant stay, great priced, great value and rooms are cosy! Buildings lovely and the field out the back was a good spot for wildlife! 

Can't wait to come back again.

 Booked this hotel In early Janyary. Such a guiet and cozy place. Very friendly and hospitable personal. Tasty breakfast. Clean rooms. Nice bar with beer and darts).We could use the microwawe. Me and my wife are about to go to this hotel again. Lev&Lena from Russia.

I spent two very comfortable and restful nights there, lovely en suite, big telly, coffee,tea and biscuits, big comfy double bed,i would definitely stay there again,very reasonable price i would highly recommend, big thumbs up from me :)

Nice hotel for the price. Room was clean and very large. Service was very good and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Easy to find and they put my bike in a nice safe place. Good breakfast as well.

Absolutely terrific night at the Castle. Could not have been made feel any more welcome. Breakfasy was really lovely but please repaint room no 6 as it reeks of stale smoke.

We had a lovely stay here recently, spacious clean room and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. A nice surprise was that the hotel is attached to some castle ruins, it was just a shame the gate to them wasn't open while we were there. Fantastic breakfast served downstairs at whatever time you want it. The only thing that would be nice to have in the warmer weather is a small fridge in the room as there isn't a 24 hour reception. Will definitely be staying here again.

My stay at the castle inn

Very good value for money

As we were very tired and jet-lagged after travelling, any port in the storm would've been welcome.  The Castle Inn located right in the downtown area is easy to find.  The facility is a bit dingy.  The room was bright and the bed comfortable.  The en suite bathroom was a bit small and hot water hard to come by.  However, the room did meet our needs.  The breakfast the next morning was delicious and the chef went out of her way to make us welcome.  If you are travelling in that part of the country, it will serve nicely.
