The Well House

Accommodations are beautifully quaint and well appointed. Great welcome and departure conversation with the host even though our visit was a quick overnight during the Enchanted Forest event.We appreciated the many  suggestions for things to do in the area. Pitlochry is a gem and so is The Well House!

My wife and I had a really enjoyable stay at The Well House. We stayed two nights in a lovely room that had all the amenities that you could wish for. Our host John was very helpful and friendly and made sure our stay was as pleasant and comfortable as it could be. The continental breakfast was excellent and really set us up for the day ahead. Our room was spacious and we had a sound and comfortable sleep on both nights. We hope to return again soon.

I spent two nights at the Well House recently.l had the small single room which was quite tiny but perfectly fine for someone on their own Nice ittle en suite with everything I needed.
John provided a very nice continental type breakfast. His porridge is well worth trying.
Nothing was too much trouble and he was happy to help with local information.
Easy to get to the main street and in a very handy position for all that Pitlochry has to offer.

What a lovely stay both my partner and I had here. From the moment we arrived our host John offered a warm welcome, treating us not like guests but like family. We were upgraded to the large family room, which was clean, spacious and had all the amenities you could need. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. We had a very settled night. Breakfast was terrific. Everything you could want or wish for in a continental breakfast was there. Porridge was awesome, as was the accessories. Wide variety of cereals, breads, fruits, yoghurts, all at hand. Tea and coffee a plenty. John was the most gracious and attentive host, catering for different dietary needs. On our departure John walked with us to the car, carrying my overnight bag, such a gentleman, as attentive then as he was throughout our visit. I wish we could have stayed longer as it felt like being at home. Thank you John for everything. Good luck in the future and take care. We hope to be back soon for another stay. 

Great location, great hospitality and great help from the owner!

Was welcomed by the owner who showed us to our room after exchanging compliments. Owner went though a map in detail outlining the amenities and landmarks of the area. 

Was provided with a key to the residence so could come and go and we pleased.

This is a wonderful little b&b.  Not too far a walk from the main street, but very cosy, and the comfiest bed I've ever slept in. Linen and room was spotless.  The dining room was lovely and clean, but very homely.  The host at breakfast was a lovely gentleman.  Beautiful continental breakfast as well which we thoroughly enjoyed.  Keep up the good work 👏  

The place was lovely and the carpet gave you the feel of a real Scottish experience. The owner was very caring and meet all your needs. Not only this but he helps find all the nice places to visit and eat at.

Location is 2 mins from town centre,  the husband and wife team who run are excellent hosts and the guest house is very clean and quiet. Definitely stay again. Free parking and a small fridge in our room was a bonus.

A very comfortable and relaxing stay.
John is so friendly and welcoming.  Took plenty of time to explain the area.
Great rooms and breakfast. 
Nothing was too much trouble.
We would have no hesitation in returning and would be happy to reccomend staying here

I stayed here with my husband for a couple days as he was working here, loved every minute of it, John and his family were very welcoming and really made our stay great, lovely b&b,  I will definitely be back.

We stayed here for the first time and you would have thought John had known us for years Such a friendly man and so helpful Wells house was exactly what we needed for a short break.Right in the centre of town ,car park at the rear of the house The house is immaculate and room is perfect maybe TV needs updated .Breakfast was perfect plenty to choose from .would certainly go back there Thanks John for your warm welcome xx

Just back from a 3 night stay at The Well House - wished we could stay longer.

Accommodation - if you are looking for boutique chic this is not for you - the rooms are lovely old style - spotlessly clean - yes there are some things which need to be updated but it didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the stay.

Friendly & Homely !

As a frequent visitor to Pitlochry we have stayed in many of the top hotels including Atholl palace . And while they have all been good , we were recommended to try the well house B and B ! This really is a little gem and not to be overlooked. The rooms are a little out dated ! but this is forgiven by the cleanliness and the hospitality of John the host.his humour and helpfulness is outstanding offering the personal touch which is lost these days ! if given the choice of staying at atholl palace or the well house we would choose the well house every time . A little gem

We had booked another hotel but we had to leave. We were in Pitlochry and found the The Well House. Tricia and myself (Margaret) found (sense of direction rotten) it hard to get to. John called my number asked where we were and came to meet us (we weren't that far). Great Host, great bed , clean and I would go back. John has a great sense of humour. Lovely place to stay so near town,
